The child gave her father a small pout, knowing that he was simply toying with her. “It’s Father’s day!” She huffed, holding her hands behind her back. “I even went to the trouble to make you something special with papa! Buuut if you don’t want it, I have no problem keeping it.~”
Rin laughed, and had to resist himself from tugging on the pouting child’s cheeks. “I know, I know I’m just kidding.” He assured, reaching out to pat the girl on the head. “Of course I wanna see what you made, especially if you worked so hard on it. Can I?” In truth, Rin knew it didn’t matter what Sakura presented to him. She could give him a single dandelion picked from their yard, and Rin would be happy. After all, even with a knowing bias Rin believed his daughter was the best.
"Mm." The girl huffed, but of course it didn't last long with the comforting pats her father gave on her head. A smile growing back on her lips, she hald out the small box that contained her present. A small golden pendent, nothing too special about it. If he opened it, inside would be a picture of their family on the right while on the left was a picture of Rin's mother and father, of course with Rin before Gou was born. "Grandma helped us with the pictures! Do you like it~?" She asked, waiting to see her father's reaction.
Of course Sakura knew she could have given her a flower she picked from the yard or a simple card, but she wanted this to be special. A gift he would always remember.
