I think we should talk more about how Bruce's family all blamed Jason's death on Bruce following it, and some even told him so. They don't even think so anymore, but they did and they said so to Bruce.
Of course, difficult discussion to have when too many people in the fandom still believe Bruce is to blame for Jason's death, but I trust my people to listen to me. If you are going to use this post to argue that Bruce is responsible for Jason's death, leave immediately.
Anyway, both Dick and Barbara blame Bruce and tells him he is to blame. For Dick, he does so when he confronts him about Jason's death, in New Teen Titans, which leads to Bruce slapping him (Bruce is heavily criticized for it, but like, in the 80s, that's a normal reaction from a father being insulted like this by his son. Also, people loves to say that Bruce blames Dick for Jason's death in that issue, BUT THAT'S NOT TRUE. Dick says Bruce is blaming him, because Bruce blames himself by saying Dick would also have died if he wasn't an acrobat before, then immediately blames Bruce) And Barbara, she tells him AT JASON'S FUNERAL, as shown in Gotham Knights (this is so fucked up, imo. Girl, wtf are you telling a grieving father that you told him he would get one of them killed at his son's funeral. Read the room). Alfred doesn't tell Bruce directly, instead he blames Jason and Bruce doesn't like it, but in his mind, he is blaming Bruce (Also in Gotham Knights). He also was against Bruce adopting Jason and told Bruce just that (not because of Jason, but because he doesn't believe Bruce to be capable to raise a child. Which, buddy, he already raised one?! Alfred is quite guilty of infantilizing Bruce at time), and against Bruce having any other children after Jason and told Bruce that too.
Anyway, I'm sure having both Dick and Barbara telling him he is to blame for Jason's death didn't, in any way, made his suicidal ideations stronger during that time period. (Huge sarcasm here) They didn't even blamed it on the Joker, but on Bruce, blaming him for introducing Jason to their life, which is so hypocritical coming from the two people that would not let Bruce tell them to stop when they were teens and putting themselves in danger.
