❛ ☆ — soobin’s expression uplifted to that of a more cheerful one, hands unclasped and pumping in excitement the moment he agreed– even if it were at the expense of her own wallet. “Of course, I’ll pay for food- I’m pretty sure they serve there too, so order whatever you want.” 

with a thumbs up, soobin walked right beside the other along the way to their destination with hands shoved to the depths of her pockets, looking ahead while nodding in response. “Mn- Well, it’s the middle of a weekday, so a lot of people are working. You’re not gonna find a lot of people at a karaoke bar midday, so I think we’re in the clear!”

      “It has been a while ago since I had time to do something like this so it’s very exciting whenever I have the time to do it.” Yoseob explained with a bright smile nodding his head after. “And also eating a lot of food will make it a lot better. Who can deny some food right?” He said with a chuckle. 

“Oh hopefully we wont get caught or anything so there wont be a bad scandal you know?” He said pulling her with him. “But it is going to be fun non the less. I havent done this in a while, let’s go.”

Squeezing him slightly during the hug as she laughs,“you noticed me amongst all these people? I’m impressed.” She couldn’t stop the grin from spreading across her face, genuinely happy to see him after so long. “Ah,” her grin slipping into a slight frown, “I just need to mail a few things.” Giving a small shake of her head before she perks up again, “oppa! Come with me to post my mail and we can spend some time together?”

         Yoseob felt proud of himself that after so many years he could still recognise her in a very crowded place. “Of course, you are a very dear person to me, how can I possibly forget how you look like? Dont be silly.” He replied with a chuckle. “I was just going to ask you if I could join you. I hope you dont mind getting some coffee too while we are at it?”

What is your biggest dream? Such a generic question to be asked, Jaejoong thought. How many times had he already heard it throughout over a decade of activity in this industry? And yet, instead of a scrupulously memorized answer to fit the interviewer’s expectations, he never had a premeditated reply ready. It changed together with him, the idea of what a dream is growing up inside of his head together with all the other aspects of his personality. At first it was to debut, then to become well known and to win all the awards. Later, it morphed into having the freedom of expression in his own music, and now–what was his dream now?

         ❝I don’t have a ‘dream’. When I think of a dream, it          sounds a bit distanced,  something to be achieved          later. I like the word ‘goal’ instead, because at least          I can try to make it happen. When I say it’s a dream,          it feels like I can’t go any further.❞

Naeun paused for a moment, unsure if it was her actually being called at first, but as her eyes scan the street she notices the familiar face. “Oppa!” Hugging him in return before she gives a bow herself. “What are you doing out and about?”

           He hugged her tightly for a couple long minutes before both decided to let go. “I was just in the area and I saw you so I just had to go up to you. Are you busy at the moment?” Yoseob asked in case she wanted to do something together since he could not remember the last time they did.

‘ i don’t know if we should really go, though. you probably wouldn’t fit in, you oldie. ‘ soobin had said the lighthearted words with no intention of hurting the other’s feelings- it was all in good fun, she’d thought. after all, he wasn’t even that much older than her, and karaoke clubs are mostly frequented by those around his own age– but seeing as how it had quite the opposite effect on him made her feel a little guilty- and apologetic over all. 

at this point she was only dead set on wanting him to feel better about what she’d said, hands clasped together in a begging stance, a frown was set upon her mouth and brows furrowed together as she tilted her head to get him to at least look her way.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, you’re not old! You’re young and handsome with a long life ahead of you! Won’t you still go? Please?”

       Yoseob nodded his head lightly, letting out a sigh, trying to act all down still, but he could not hold himself from letting out a chuckle. “We can go if we will get some food after or something?” He asked giving her a pair of his puppyeyes that he knew no one were able to resist. “You owe me on this.” He said looking at her. 

He took a grip of her arm to make both of them walk once more, to head over to the place where they decided to spend some time together. “Let’s just go. Hopefully there wont be so many people at the place we are going either, do you think so?” He asked on the way while walking over.
