I've recently been obsessed with Zanka from gachiakuta, like he's such a good depiction of a person in a world of inhumane treatment and super human people, i know this isn't like a new take but the fact that he simply is average is like crazy to me and he remains average throughout the series, he doesn't miraculously win against Jabber with some crazy power up, he loses. He's only human, yet he chooses to continue with everything he can offer and it's just so fascinating. When there is a character like this i feel as though their development is rushed too fast, they get better in the blink of an eye but Zanka is set back and forth over and over again. He's three steps forward and two steps back. A constant push and pull between extraordinary and ordinary.
