I used to think all these symptoms were psychosomatic, that I was stressing myself out to the point that I would make myself sick. And other people in my life have either [made/let] me believe that (because it makes me easy to dismiss), or had no idea that trans women could experience the same symptoms as cis women.

Once again: you do not need a uterus to experience mental and physical distress during hormonal changes. The hormones will interact with your brain anyway. The muscles around where your uterus would be will cramp anyway.

This is not to say that all of your negative mental states or physical discomforts are caused by this. But if you notice a pattern, let me be the one to say: it might just be your period.

Please help my friend Mahmoud if you can. His family continues to live through ordeals one after another. In the past couple of years, he has been struck with shrapnel twice, once in his back and once in his brain, his wife had to undergo cancer treatment for stage 4 cancer on her own, they gave birth to a baby but weren't able to feed him and he starved for days if not weeks, a wall collapsed on their tent and they were stuck under the rubble for 15 minutes before being rescued, and just 2 months ago, their 5 year old son passed away and now they have to pay off the debt they took on to pay for funeral expenses. So, the fire in the south of France is now twice as big as the city I live in and is getting closer to it. The air is hard to breathe. This is a picture of the fire and its smoke I took 2 days ago. It's much closer and I cannot go outside without coughing now.
