Difference between most of snaters that was also marauders fan and most of snovers that I know

Snovers love Snape as Snape.we love him for being an asshole, sarcastic bastard.We love him that he wasn't nice and didn't turn out to be good victim.We agreed that he shouldn't become deatheater or be so strict with his students. Saw something about snape in the triwizard tournament

Here’s another one: there’s two champions a school, one student, one “mentor”. Snape absolutely did not enter himself, and couldn’t anyway, because the age line for mentors is like, 50. “Moody” puts snape in to deliver him to Voldemort directly, thinking he’s a traitor right off. Cedrics mentor/designated staff member is like. Idk flitwick or something. And Harry gets snape. The disaster underage duo. Everyone can’t wait to watch because the start of every event is just them fighting before , like, the dragon breathes on them . But then they end up being pretty good. The events get to be harder since they have a staff member. What a drama

Severus Snape : Protector

I love that Harry’s magical protection (Lily’s sacrifice) begins and ends with Snape playing a key role in it.

If not Snape, Voldemort probably wouldn’t have asked Lily to step aside.

If not for Snape, Harry probably wouldn’t have faced Voldemort willingly.

My favourite part of the Harry Potter series is when Harry sees Snape’s worst memory, and instead of dismissing it as “Oh well Snape is a git he deserved it.” Which he could have easily done since he hates Snape, he was pissed at both of his parents. He actually got a realistic look at his parents outside of everyone’s “perfect image” of them and he was mad.

That to me was some great development for Harry, that he has 0 tolerance for bullying no matter who the victim was, and that he could break his flawless image of his parents to see that what they did was wrong.

I’m sure someone’s pointed this out (sorry op), but it’s really something like 40th time’s the charm. In the greater community, it’s been rumored to be cursed for years; the staff would almost certainly believe it is. Not only does Dumbledore know that it’s cursed, but who cast the curse, when, and why. He shares this with no one until he dies.

This is such an interesting post. Especially in regards in to this idea that Albus used the post to get rid of bad people.

Because then it makes the instances he didn’t hire enemies even more interesting. Hiring Snape makes sense because it was planned that Snape would kill Albus at the end of the year, and so he would leave.

But what about Remus? What about fake Moody? Why put your own allies at risk? For what purpose?

I am so curious about this now. Someone could write a really good fanfic about it if they could come up with reasonable explanations.
