The only things I regret, and the only things I’ll ever regret are things I didn’t do. In the end, that’s what we mourn. The paths we didn’t take. The people we didn’t touch.

Reflection (Mirror Night) | Vanros Kloud
Wings of Piano - Vanros Kloud 3/∞ Favorite songs from Deemo
Okay, let me tell you about Deemo. My poor feels.
Deemo is a rhythm game for the Android in the theme of a piano. This game incorporates a very deep and dark story, and more of it is revealed the further you play the game with each song you unlock. While the game’s English is a bit off with their dialogues, the music makes up for it by a long shot. As you tap around the home screen (the center room, the room to the right, and the room to the left), you may discover hidden songs. These are also part of the story. All the songs bought in the store, however, are not.
Now let me tell you about the story. The first few songs are about Deemo, a Slender Man-like figure (who’s much kinder), all alone by himself until a little girl fell through a window in the ceiling. She has no memories of herself. Deemo soon realizes that the tree in the center of the room grows every time he plays the piano, and decides to help the little girl go back home using this method. Throughout the game, you play songs to make the tree grow.
But what would Deemo do when he gets comfortable with the companionship he has never had before? What if the little girl couldn’t deal with the truth when her seemingly lost memories regained?
In the cutscene, the little girl falls gently on her back and is caught by Deemo, but in the song Nine Point Eight (the rate of acceleration of gravity), she is seen falling head first. In the song it mentions flowers: ”Calla lily, carnation, daisy Silently chase away your worries Chrysanthemum, kalanchoe Become your shield whenever you fall asleep” Calla lilies mean “beauty,” carnations mean “I’ll always be there for you,” “My heart aches for you,” and “pure love,” daisies mean “loyal love,” chrysanthemums means “love” and “truth,” and kalanchoes means “lasting affection.” With the next line singing: ”I cried out Please don’t leave me behind, leave me behind So you held me tight And said I will be just fine, I will be just fine, I will be just fine” It indicated that the person she loved left her to somewhere while the next line implied that the person she loved died: "Petals dance for our valediction And synchronize to your frozen pulsation Take me to where your soul may live in peace Final destination”
And in the end, she is seen committing suicide: ”Zipped my mouth I just keep climbing up, keep climbing up Justify our vows I know you are right above, you are right above, you are right above
Look now I’m on the top of your world, top of your world My darling Here I come, I yell And take a leap to Hell”
In the room to the left, there is a number that shows up when you tap on the bookshelf: 121.518549 In the room to the right, there is a number that shows up when you tap under the table: 25.040854 These are the latitude and longitude of Taiwan’s National Hospital, and if you tap on the window in the right room, you’ll eventually hear a heart monitor.
So it turns out, this story is of a comatose girl. There is a song titled Undo a little after Nine Point Eight, then a song titled Utopiasphere with a line that sung, “Tick, tock, time doesn’t stop.” Right after Utopiasphere, the song’s Reverse - Parallel Universe’s art background is shown with clocks as well (another time reference). Then comes the song titled, “I Hate to Tell You.”
Sometimes, on the home screen, when you tap the little girl, she may say, “Deemo, let’s play! You be the doctor, I be the patient,” and if Deemo is the doctor, he is trying to reverse her dying condition.
All the songs after I Hate to Tell You is from her imagination in her comatose state.
And when you grow your tree to a max of 20m, you unlock the song Magnolia. Magnolias are represented as life force, and with the way the song went, I couldn’t help but think she died:
"Wind whines through broken tips as our memories die off. Hopefully you’ll get used to my hugs - meaning good-bye.”
Yet, in the final cutscene, it says, “To be continued.” I recommend this game for everyone who loves music and games and a deep story. Trailer: [x] Official website: [x]

Deemo: Moon Without the Stars - Jerry Barnes & Quiana
*re-translated the lyrics because the listed ones on the Chinese pages are very, very wrong.
Can’t imagine life without having you here by my side No matter the cost When you just can’t hold on, and the weight is too strong I’ll be there to break the fall When you feel confused by the world and all its mysteries I can only hope you’ll remember all the simple things Like what’s a heartbeat? without heartache? What’s a hurricane? without the rain? What’s the moon without the stars? That’s how it feels when we’re apart What’s a heartbeat? without heartache? What’s a hurricane? without the rain? What’s the moon without the stars? That’s how it feels when we’re apart But if it was easy as turning back the hands of time I wouldn’t change a thing And I just wanna let you know I’ll never let you go You’ll always be a part of me When you feel confused by the world and all its mysteries I can only hope you’ll remember all the simple things Like what’s a heartbeat? without heartache? What’s a hurricane? without the rain? What’s the moon without the stars? That’s how it feels when we’re apart What’s a heartbeat? without heartache? What’s a hurricane? without the rain? What’s the moon without the stars? That’s how it feels when we’re apart So help me, so help me You are all I ever need You’re here with me right now You’re here in my heart now What’s a heartbeat? without heartache? What’s a hurricane? without the rain? What’s the moon without the stars? That’s how it feels when we’re apart
Like what’s a heartbeat? without heartache? What’s a hurricane? without the rain? What’s the moon without the stars? That’s how it feels when we’re apart What’s a heartbeat? without heartache? What’s a hurricane? without the rain? What’s the moon without the stars? That’s how it feels when we’re apart
when an artist wants to show you their art
or a writer wants you to read what they’ve written
it’s quite often an expression of trust
because a poem or a story or a painting are often things that come from the heart
little pieces of the artists themselves
and if they’re willing to share it with you
you should appreciate it
THANK GOD SOMEONE KNOWS BECAUSE I SWEAR TO GOD WHEN I SHOW IT TO PEOPLE THEY THINK IM BRAGGING
