Hey, this is a sneak peek of the secret route in Chapter 3 hehe. I’m currently placing the sprites into the script, and it’s a bit TOO long since there’s a lot of dialogue 🫠.

I can’t believe I spent an entire intense month writing Chapter 3. It is currently the chapter that has given me the most trouble in terms of narrative writing.

So much so that I had to cut part of the storyline and move it to Chapter 4 in order to avoid overwhelming this one.

At the same time, it makes sense: this chapter focuses on their relationship, their dynamic, and how they react to each other.

Some scenes really made me think for a while: “Why did he say that line? And not something else?” “Why is he acting like this?”

I even surprised myself.

I have a general outline for them, but once they are placed into scenes, they sometimes go further than what I originally imagined.

In a way, that’s a good thing…

There are also scenes that made me smile like crazy.

I hope my drawings will live up to what I’m trying to convey through my writing.

PS: I received some comments that truly made me happy — they motivated me even more.

It’s only missing a bit of background music and it’ll be done.

I was thinking about making a colored version of this video, but I decided to leave it as it is to preserve my energy.

I have to admit that when I finished it, I wasn’t very proud of it because I was being quite self-critical. But in the end… nothing ventured, nothing gained.

So I’ll post it on TikTok once the music is added.

Announcement – Chapter 2 is out

I’m happy to announce that Chapter 2 is finally out!

It might not be as grand as the first release, but I was a bit too tired to prepare a full announcement video. All I have this time is a rough draft that I animated on a burst of inspiration.
