Sad headcanons that may be canons (I can’t tell tbh)

The reason why Master can’t be alone, whether it be with people or the audience in his head, is rather simple… He has autophobia, or monophobia – the fear of being alone. Yes, he will absolutely panic himself into an overheated state if he were to be isolated – especially in a claustrophobic-type setting. It’s one of the only ways to visibly break him.

Master’s condescending attitude is partially to hide what he truly thinks of himself: A lonely, “worthless” piece of junk metal with perfectionist tendencies. He’ll beat himself up (quite literally) if he believes he hasn’t satisfied his audience well enough. It’s a sad cycle of the desire to be flawless, really.
