THE (perhaps) LONG AWAITED RETURN OF THE ITâS! HU! MAN! TIIIIME! AU! This time, featuring JONGLER!
Obligatory tag for a certain @shuttleman. Teehee!
So I was brainstorming some of the lore for this one, and I was thinking, much like the previous victims, Jongler gets a mysterious package in the mail addressed to both him and Pluey. It promises answers to what both Battat and Tenna have been going through, and, against his better judgment, Jongler decides to take a peek at the contents of the box to find a tape.
Jongler immediately lets Pluey know, whose interest is also piqued, and they both agree that even though Battat told them not to get involved, they both feel an obligation to help their friend out. They decide that Battat already has so much on his plate, and they donât know if giving the tape to him will worsen his situation (âWhat if he changes again!? Or we lose him like that email guy?â). So they decide to bite the bullet and view the tape for themselves, agreeing to report their findings to Battat afterwards, even if he gets pissed off.
Before Jongler is able to grab the tape, however, Pluey remembers that not only did all the previous victims receive a mysterious item related to their transformation, but it was likely touching these âcursedâ items that triggered the changes in the first place. He instead proposes they handle the tape while wearing gloves or oven mitts to prevent the curse from taking hold. Jongler is ~amazed~ by Plueyâs ingenuity (as usual) and they proceed with the planâŚ
⌠Only to find static and garbage noise. Stumped by these less than desirable results, Pluey leaves Jonglerâs place in disappointment, and they agree to tell Battat about it the next day. Little did they know, Plueyâs theory regarding the âcursed itemsâ is true, it just wasnât the items they were thinking ofâŚ
Having used the remote to turn the TV on, Jongler was unfortunately hit by the same makeover as Battat and Tenna. I didnât exactly picture a transformation sequenceâŚ? I moreso saw him crashing on the couch shortly after Pluey leaves and waking up completely changed.
You may recall the transformation sequence I drew for poor Pluey (in his case, he just straight up got jumped by Friend). I imagine that happening to him on his way home from Jonglerâs. He ends up going to Battat immediately after that, and upon informing his (very) angry boss, they both rush back to check if Jonglerâs okay. Luckily they barge in just a little bit after Jongler has woken up, and attempt to help him get through the mini breakdown he is experiencing. After freaking out about his missing face (and hair!) and LEG, he lets them slowly try to figure out how to get him back up on his⌠foot?
