Homes are being destroyed, neighborhoods cleared, and entire areas wiped out even now, while a ceasefire is supposedly in place.
People are watching their houses disappear piece by piece.
Not during fighting.
Not in the middle of airstrikes.
But after everything, when they were told it was safe to breathe again.
The destruction didn’t stop.
It just became quieter.
These images show displacement tents set up right next to a heavily damaged building.
The building was hit before and is leaning, at risk of collapsing at any moment.
Families are living in these tents because they have no other place to go.
There are no safe areas left, no intact homes, no shelters to move to.
Leaving this spot doesn’t mean safety it just means being displaced again.
So people stay.
Not because they feel protected,but because this is the last option they have They sleep knowing the building beside them could fall.
They wake up hoping it doesn’t.
This is not temporary living This is forced survival.

while i appreciate isat's exploration of mental illness and it's very surprisingly well-rounded handling of it i can't help but feel oh-so hollow that every ounce of exploring siffrin's culture is tied in with the king. whom the game hammers down as incredibly irredeemable and never touches on more with after act 3. i couldn't help but resonate so much with siffrin's core struggle with not remembering his culture and i think it was honestly the most personal and important part to me about his storyline. and it not being touched on further sans being related to his fears with his friends.... ahhh..... :,)
So! I'm making this AU since so many elements about The Forgotten Island remind me of the Kingdom of Sky, and since I REALLY want a sequel, I'm making a masterpost of all the parts, worldbuilding, headcanons and fanart based on this!
After travelling to Bambouche, rumors starts to spread about an Island appearing and dissapearing through the fog and clouds at the horizon. Tap Home 1: This is the first time I'm hearing about the distinction between diurnal and nocturnal fae. Perhaps there weren't such terms during my time. It appears that I align with more diurnal species, but there are so many factors that leave me unsure.
Tap Home 2: Ortho tends to be a bit too high energy for me at times. What I really find astonishing though is just how fast he's able to adjust and blend right in. This era's machines are really impressive... I admire his curiosity and motivation to learn.
Tap Home 3: How exactly were the craftfairies able to get the magestone Crowley requires so easily? Aren't there protections in place? People watching over it? Anything? It doesn't feel like it should be any of my business, but now I've been pulled into the ordeal too.
Tap Home 4: I usually prefer clothes that are much more casual and loose fitting, and I'm sure such quality would have been better dedicated elsewhere. However... this silk is smooth, glossy, and comfortable. I don't think I've felt anything like it before. You said Professor Crewel was responsible?
