I think the Residenztheater shouldn’t have chickened out in their production of „Warten auf Godot“ and just actually included them kissing instead of that half-assed smth; they managed just fine in “Kasimir und Karoline” and I doubt that was canon before

the amount of people who had to read this book for school and collectively decided that the right alternative ending for an assignment is those two weirdos kissing and getting the fuck outta there was very convincing to me I think it should be enough for the Resi too

tried to just whimsically genderbend lotf ended up with horridly elaborate thoughts -partly based on my own childhood- about how if ur considered ugly as a kid u kinda loose ur right to being seen as a girl and sometimes even a child or “worth protecting” so to say
