Holy shit-

That episode where Rick and Morty detoxified themselves, I didn't get why Rick implied that the fact that he cares for Morty was irrational and toxic. After the season 5 finale tho, I think it was because he never had a grandson to begin with, so the fact that he was so attached to a random version of his hypothetical grandson didn't make sense to him.

"Grandpa's here."
