Pretty swimsuits and undies (some of them doubling as sleepwear) for TM, AM and EM. All go on one mesh per age group, either with blockfeet or sexyfeet. They have fat morphs, TM & AM also have preg morphs. Polycounts: blockfeet: 1,768 // sexyfeet: 6,346.

None of the textures are my original work, I just made some edits. Credits, full swatches and mesh details under the cut.

Meshes

So on the face of it it may not seem very complicated to FtM convert skin-tight textures. But actually there aren't many swimwear/underwear textures made for F sims that you can put straight onto M nude meshes and get a satisfactory result, because of the F/M mapping differences. The whole neck/shoulders/upper chest area is the most problematic (hello wonky straps and collars).

That's why I made new meshes instead of using the default Maxis nude ones.

They're almost 1-1 with the Maxis meshes in terms of the shape. EM is identical, AM and TM were given an edited fat morph (the fat+preg morph looks a lot less like a runny egg than on the Maxis AM mesh). The major difference is in the texture mapping and turned faces, which make the new meshes a much better match for F textures.

Picnic table dump: some recolors and add-ons Summer is coming! time for some picnic themed CC. First some 4t2 objects which I like, but I am generally not a fan of original TS4 textures, so I made recolors to make them look less plasticky: 10 recolors of the 4t2 slatted bench set converted by @kayleigh-83, with a more detailed wood grain and a darker weathered metal texture, and 5 recolors of the 4t2 concrete picnic table converted by semio, using a rough concrete wall texture from the game DOWNLOAD Slatted Bench set

DOWNLOAD Concrete Table Meshes are included, as well as Inge's hidden picnic chair with an invisible recolor I made. You will also need the SharedIsChairABoothGlobal mod (not included)

Then I made some add-on picnic tables for the Boardwalk and Sunset Supper 3t2 sets converted by @veranka-downloads: I was always annoyed that I can't actually have Sims use the bench to sit at the matching table, so I combined them into one object. 4t2 TeeTucked mesh edit and default

I made a default for aftoptshirt and tftoptshirt using @mdpthatsme's 4t2 TeeTucked conversion, with some of the original textures and recolors by Dare2DV8.

The same way I did for this sweater (wait that was a year ago??), I edited the AF and TF fat morphs to smoothen the chest area (Dina in the preview above models the "fat" version)

You get a total of 22 recolors for both ages. That's a lot, but I like having a decent choice of colors for a basic versatile tee, and there's some graphic/tie&dye options as well! I also made a repo'd completer for EF, it shows up decustomized in the catalog.

Favorite color: Green. At different times of my life the shade I prefer varies, right now I'm more into pastel/mint shades, especially paired with pink. I'm writing this while drinking coffee out of the very first mug I bought as a student, which is, unsurprisingly, apple green.

Last movie: Mulholland Drive. It was available on Arte after David Lynch's death, and I had never seen it

why are people saying that they're finally able to play ts1 and ts2 again soon? the installers exist, you'll be spending money on stuff that you can have for free with community fixes.

↑↑↑ Osab's installers are fantastic and easy to use. I actually reinstalled TS2 on a whim a few day ago using the web installer and I was so impressed. It gives you all packs + bonus Maxis content + all necessary fixes, for free.

I have been told this is all way too complicated and they don't want to go through the game files to fix the game (completely ignoring that they explicitly do not need to with the installer).

At this point, I am convinced that some individuals cannot and do not want to read and therefore require a huge red DOWNLOAD HERE button, hence why they are so willing to be tied to the EA App

I've been thinking about it and yeah it actually makes sense that we, as people who still play TS2 in 2025 and are willing to jump through some (minimal) hoops to make it work, are not the target audience for this re-release. Many times I've seen people commenting under youtube LP videos things like "I wish I could still play the Sims2!" and maybe we're underestimating how many people simply don't know how or even that it's possible at all! One thing to maybe consider is the generational gap in computer literacy: the community here is largely millenials or older gen Z who grew up with chunky desktop computers and know how to use them. But younger people are using primarily phones and tablets. Everything is an app, very visual with minimal reading, everything is available in a few clicks, you don't even need a concept of files and folder structure. I wouldn't be surprised if many of them genuinely think anything beyond that is too complicated. So my guess is, these people are the target?

Big DSB sailor separates set!

This top comes from a DSB TM outfit, and is the base for my seifuku meshes- plus I made a recolour and age conversion of it a few years ago ^^ I wanted to make a separate top version of it, too, but the main thing holding me back was that it's got parts that overlap with the textures for a bottom, so wouldn't display properly with most bottoms if everything was in one group. So finally, here's a mesh with a 'noblend' group, which will now work with all sorts of bottoms! It's admittedly the first time I've done this, and the mesh files aren't the cleanest in the world, but it's working and I'm very pleased with myself ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

There's 8 selected Aelia colour mixes plus 4 patterns. Ages CU, TF and TM, casual only. The textures are based on the DSB originals but with quite a few edits, as I edited the mesh a lot, too. TF is a bit more flat chested than a typical TF mesh, but I'm much more happy with the CU mesh than my seifuku defaults, as it doesn't have the extra shading in the chest area (being a conversion from TM). It did take a lot of adjusting and maybe not 100% perfect, but all the same I'm much more happy with it. Available standalone or other ages/genders repo to TM, fully compressorized and labelled with swatch in the file.

I made three sets of bottoms to match the tops. For TF, @persimmonthusiast's shoeswap of Cat's French Farmer skirt with boots, with textures based on @goatskickin's lovely pleated recolours. For CF it's pretty much just those textures popped onto my Fruits kid skirts. For CU and TM I made a fairly simple recolour of @godlimpingby's Elias trousers with Pixicat’s docs- these come either standalone or repo to TM. It was pretty hard to keep the colours consistent between the tops and bottoms, I've done my best to keep everything matching. Everything's casual but the French sailor skirt and Elias sailor trousers are also categorised as outerwear as they're longer and cover much more aha. Everything's compressorized and labelled, with swatches and meshes in the files (the colour names vary slightly from the tops, hence the additional swatches).

Cowlneck Sweater Dress shoeswap and default Long time no see! I've been busy playing my custom hood and making defaults/small CC edits that I'm too lazy to upload... I gathered some motivation for this dress though: It's a shoe/legswap of this cowlneck sweater dress by dutchxfan with 4t2 ankle boots by @kayleigh-83, using the age conversion by @deedee-sims for the TF version. For the textures I used recolors by @mikexx2 and leggings by @serabiet. Basically putting together many bits and pieces from other creators... All this to make a default for afbodyturtlesweaterdressshoes and afbodyjacketturtlesweaterdressboots. I made a repo'd TF version and 3 extra custom recolors. 4t2 Sweet Sweater mesh edit and default I thought this sweater converted by @mdpthatsme would be perfect to replace the basegame vnecklongsleeve top! I ended up making 11 recolors based on @serabiet's beautiful retexture, and made a new fat morph because I like to stare at boobs for hours to remove the sharp creases and "vacuum packed" effect in the chest area, making it more consistent with the thin morph.

I made it into a default for aftopvnecklongsleeve, and used @deedee-sims' TF conversion to replace tftopvnecklongsleeve. I included completer recolors for TF so that teens get all the adult options. DOWNLOAD vnecklongsleeve default (AF and TF merged in one file)

3t2 foosball tables made functional I made these two meshes converted by @veranka-downloads into functional objects, based on the Hotshot Foosball table by @jacky93sims. Grab the invisible pinball machine from her upload to have Sims playing on both sides of the table! DOWNLOAD (SFS) All original recolors are bundled with the meshes. I re-used Veranka's GUIDs, so you can't have both versions at the same time. I also lowered the price from a whopping §6000+ to a more reasonable §800 in line with Maxi's entertainment items.

About the tooltip/BSOK options

These skirts match both the standard Maxis M shapes and Lifa's trans M shapes (except EM because there is no dedicated Lifa trans EM shape - Lifa trans EM sims use the adult shape). That's why I'm giving you the option to have them either categorized with regular cc or with Lifa's trans M cc.

But, I hear you say, wouldn't any M bottoms match both the standard Maxis M shapes and Lifa's trans M shapes anyway? They match at the waist so that they are compatible with the same tops, but other than that, not exactly.

Maxis M and Lifa trans M bottoms differ in 3 places: Lifa trans M bottoms have the Maxis F higher crotch level, lower knees mapping and distinctly F toes mapping. These particularities on Lifa trans M sims are solved through the use of showerproof skins made specifically for trans sims. Anyway, since skirts hide crotch level and the specific skirts I picked for this post also hide the knees and toes textures, those differences aren't applicable here, hencewhy I'm saying they match both shapes.

In contrast, see the skirts on this post, which I presented exclusively as for Lifa's trans M and made available BSOK'd only. Those skirts have visible knee textures and those knees will look a bit weird on sims who don't have a showerproof skin made for trans M.

That said, these distinctions may ultimately be completely irrelevant to you. To be honest they aren't jarring at all unless you're looking for them. I also never mean to imply that people need to be trans to wear skirts or anything like that, the classifications that I use for cc clothing are purely technical (the TS2 part of my brain is mostly occupied by downloads folder management and CAS catalog organization and apparently I haven't played the actual game since November 2022 oh god).

Oshima made a shoe swap of this skirt for teens, adults and elders, and it's really one of my favorites!

I felt the need to put so many retextures on it. Comes in pleated plaids, some plain colors and one red patterned outlier.

I don't think creators "should" necessarily share less recolors for an item but I know I personally can't be left alone with the crushing responsibility of making a choice... which is ironically why I have been guilty myself of making way more recolors than I can use

ufhairlong replaced with Bfly171 - converted by @redsimmer-blog As soon as I saw this mesh I fell in love with it, it's so pretty, nicely animated AND low poly (only 7,5k!). I knew it would be perfect as a default. Replaces tf-af, cf completer is included. Textures are the original ones (Io’s Edit of Pooklet v3 Textures with pf scalp texture) + my unnatural recolors for the mirror hairs Download (SFS) I've had this default in my game for over a year now, and never shared it because I was'nt 100% happy with the unnatural recolors I made. But I've sat on it long enough so here I go anyway...
