I write posts for myself and the universe because I know that nobody gaf about Haruki Nakayama. I hate Akihiko, I dislike Mafuyu and I'm neutral to Ritsuka. In other fandoms, most of my favorite characters are women. I will talk about them.

Trying to fix the plot's situation with help of Hiiragi mix is like trying to cure a knife wound with plantain.

I don't understand people who blame Hiiragi for allegedly stealing someone's plot time.

Hiiragi mix is a distraction because Kizu chose to turn a blind eye to the insane illogic of chapter 28 and the fact that she needed to show a solution to a problem rather than talk about it in a couple of someone's lines.

Hiiragi mix was just a way to continue this manga.

Kizu didn't even try very hard, because the new drummer/bassist pair is actually a tracing paper of the old one.

If Hiiragi mix didn't exist, she would have just finished this manga.

I am annoyed by the fans of the Given band, who are absolutely convinced that Kizu would have developed the relationship of the main group if it were not Hiiragi.

No. Paying attention to the Given band became impossible after chapter 28.

It ruins EVERYTHING. Fandom started dying after that. The fandom discussions became rare too (when this chapter was translated into English).

Kizu changed Haruki's facial expression twice before coming to the third option with a sad face.

Whenever I think about it, I feel sad.

Not only is Haruki the only one who always doesn't have a pair on official arts with all the characters, but there's also this uncertainty.

I'm 99.999999% sure that Kizu either was afraid to do something unexpectable in his plotline, or hasn't decided what to do with him.

After all, in her early interview, she said that mafuyama is the main couple, and that she only came up with an ending for Mafuyu, but not for the rest of the characters.

The only reason people say that Take is "too straight" is that they are not able to perceive everything related to mutual respect in a romantic context.

They need insane displays of passion (for example, if Take would started inhaling the scent of Haruki's hair from his hands in chapter 20) or the use of force (for example, if Take would pinned Haruki to the wall).

They don't understand how consent and respect work in tandem.

Sone of you are so disappointed after the 10th mix bc you unironically wanted 2 alphas fighting for one omega (Akhk vs Take) and 2 omegas fighting fir one alpha (Haruki amd Ugts fighting for Akhk).

But Take and Haruki are just two adult men. Not alpha and omega. Not fetishes.

Unfortunately, Haruki Nakayama has a negligible amount of content from Kizu - many times less than all the other 6 main characters.

Yeah, the founder and the leader if the main band...

Moreover, he has almost no full-fledged single colorfull art from her (the ones that exist are when she painted everyone in turn, not only him).

But even in quick sketches, he remains the most beautiful angel in the world.

I don't understand those who complain that Given fandom is dead.

I will continue to talk about my favorite characters and my favorite ship, even if I get zero attention (as I usually do). I don't need to feel like I'm part of a community in order to continue loving them and talking about them.

But why did this happen? Why did the characters who are Kizu's favorites leave such a void? Maybe they're not really such good characters?

When the first movie was released, Kizu was interviewed for the last time. Not once after that, although there were two more movies afterwards.

Given fandom died instantly after the Hiiragi mix ended. Then it partially resurrected before the 10th mix. And immediately died again after 10th mix ending.

This happens when there is nothing to discuss.

But I still keep talking, being active on other resources. I'm talking about my favorites because in all these years I haven't said even 1% of what I want.

The main manga before Hiiragi mix is literally the core of the story, but it is completely unanalyzed by the current younger generation of readers and completely forgotten by the old ones.

But I remember a lot lol.

I remember what happened, and I remember how the rest of the characters treated my favorite from the very beginning.

I remember the long years of his humiliation from Kizu. Both in manga and on official art.

I remember when his critically important hair-cutting scene was cut from the movie, but they showed the scene where A*ihiko takes pictures of U*etsu.

I remember how Kizu, at the very beginning of the manga, identified 9 characters in art with totemic animals, and the Japanese began to make merchandise for this art with everyone except Take.

I remember that humiliating story with the ring.

I remember the 6th and 21st chapters, after which I hated the whole band except Haruki.

I remember that Haruki has a man who loves him devotedly and selflessly.

I remember that 10 years later, Haruki spends a lot of time with this man - more than with everyone else, as before.

I remember that at the picnic with Uenoyama, Haruki passed the baton to mfyma from takeharu.

I remember these fragmentary interviews from Kizu, including an interview about Haruki's ex-boyfriend, which I still haven't checked and which I treat with distrust, since the information about it came from Aki*iko fan.

I remember tgat Haruki always felt desperation. I remember his reaction to the crime against him.

Oh yeah, I have a lot to discuss and I have someone to love. My fandom is in my head. And it will always be alive.

Take will always be special

I don't care who you ship, but if you deny Haruki and Take's special bond, then that bond is interfering with your agenda.

At the most difficult moment of his life, when Haruki literally wanted to disappear, he went to Take and waited for him for a long time in this state.

Don't you realize that it was critically important for Haruki that Take gave him back the strength to live?

Have you ever wondered why Hanaoka, Haruki's friend and hairstylist, even exists in the story? His entire existence in the plot is only to show that Haruki did not go to a friend who is a professional hairstylist, but to Take. And after that, yall dare to say that Take is just one of Haruki's friends?

I'm not even talking about the romantic context, although Haruki and Take literally blushed at each other because they found themselves in a situation similar to flirting.

My heart is always with Haruki Nakayama

The way Given fandom has dehumanized Haruki Nakayama over the years makes me feel angry and desperate at the same time.

We, his fans, were never allowed to even touch on the subject of his trauma. He amounted to collateral damage.

Even his suicidal thoughts did not cause any reaction in the fandom. People just said, "It was a momentary weakness," and moved on. They never paid attention to him unless it was on their agenda.

Despair and pain are his constant companions, we can literally see his thoughts about it. He directed his hatred at himself, he literally wanted to cease to exist.

But the fandom continued to discuss and feel sorry for the one who was holed up in Haruki's apartment at that time, feeling sorry for himself and thinking about Ugetsu.

Atsushi is trying his absolute best to not go insane with all these deaths and to find a solution and his grounding thought is always "Dazai-san... what would he do?" I love it, I love this detail so much, it happens every time Atsushi is alone and facing a crisis and it always pushes him forward. At this point I don't remember when was the last time Atsushi had a flashback of the headmaster.

This is growth. The stakes are high so you can't see it, and Fyodor is pushing all the buttons to break him, but Atsushi keeps getting back up, falling apart, pulling himself back together and god it's beautiful.
