Star Wars is about normal people rising up against a fascist regime that benifits off of systematic suffering btw.

Yes, it's a universe that can tell stories beyond our wildest imaginations.
And it may seem silly on surface level, but it is ALSO a political allegory that nearly perfectly demonstrates how the coruption and greed of a few destroy the lives of many.
To any all of you reading this, I want you to understand that the politics of Star Wars is not-- and never has been-- fiction.
To my non-american followers who are watching this shit-show go down, I urge you to understand that the corruption in our nation runs deep, and that a great deal of the American people are terrified of what is to come. We did not vote for this, just as the people of the galaxy did not vote for Palpatine. Our liberty IS dying, and we are NOT the ones applauding. I implore you to separate our government from the people because we are not one in the same.
To my American followers, the times ahead of us are dark, and I know it's difficult to think about, but we must hold out hope. We must acknowledge that our government no longer serves us, but they have no power if we are not complacent. NOBODY is immune to propaganda, and in these next couple of months you will be seeing ALOT of it, so I beg you to stay informed. The media we consume WILL become riddled with right-wing propaganda derived from lies and fear-mongering. Our best line of defense against this will, and forever will be, education.
Hold out hope in our communities, hold out hope for a better future, hold out hope that we may one day come out of this with a new system for the people BY the people.

And even if we do suffer, even if we face hardship, even if we must endure the darkness before we see the light, we are in it TOGETHER. Although you may feel alone, know that you are NOT. okay girlies do we have any advice on pmdd beyond birth control or therapy?
Disclaimer: this is all from memory from over 10 years ago, but I'll look through the files I set aside to read later. I also read through a bunch of PMDD research in college when I was deciding on my honors thesis topic, so I'll see if I still have those files.
So from what research I did when I first noticed my symptoms (and got misdiagnosed as having depression instead of PMDD despite both me AND my mom saying it comes the week before my period and pretty much only then), there's two types of PMDD. There's progesterone deficient PMDD, which is most common in perimenopausal women and is why PMDD tends to get worse as you age, and then the one caused by your body basically not knowing what to do with the hormones produced during your luteal phase. Or at least, that's what is thought to be going on.
Progesterone supplementation from 3 days post peak until your period is the currently recommended NaPro treatment, but obviously it only helps if you're progesterone deficient. If that doesn't work, the recommendation is usually an SSRI, but that has really low success rates with PMDD since you have to take them your full cycle to get enough in your system. Also in my experience, NaPro providers don't know what to do if both of those things don't work. It's only been relatively recently that NaPro has come around to PMDD not necessarily being a progesterone issue, but possibly a more complex one, because so many women they were treating WERE just lacking progesterone, as you naturally do during perimenopause. But I was like 11 when it started so obviously it was not perimenopause lol.
I also know it's way more common in women with ADHD than in the average female population. Admittedly, haven't done much looking into that, however I imagine if you do have ADHD, doing things that support your neurotype during your cycle would at least improve your symptoms
Thinking about how I read scientific papers to figure out my own treatments for PMDD because if you ask any doctor they just slap birth control on it as if that doesn't come with its own host of problems.
