An excerpt from the commissioner's documentation of the FSTR unit.

As they explained it, they were designed as Stormtroopers to be deployed and fight in massive waves against Imperial forces on Kitezh. However the corruption dwindle those numbers and caused an overall disarray on those operations. At least this is how I understood it.

So there is some connection to this piece of lore and the composition and setting of the commission. Vile gave me three scenarios to choose for their piece and I chose the one where they were battling against corrupted replika.
