The rating for the series as a whole ended up lower than the average episode rating. I love Armand's Lestat-fan fic. I think he wrote bodice-ripper under the pseudonym Johanna Lindsey and Catherine Coulter (and much more…) in the 80s.

Lestat refers to *Interview with the Vampire* as a bodice-ripper and says in *Big Bad Wolf*, "I’m not Vampire Fabio..." And I even made jokes about Armand’s fanfic version in S2 EP3... featuring Fabio Lanzoni on the cover of a bodice-ripper...
