Controlling the Vampire Invasion
Thank you so much @babydollsimmer @questforsims @mdianasanders for your help with testing.
What we have determined is that Vlad is the trigger to EA”s vampire story. After discussing things with SimGuru Ninja, the game is acting exactly as they wanted.
So what about those of us who don’t want the Vlad uninvited visit?
Simple! Delete him!
Your sim will still have that initial nighttime visit by a vampire. I chose to have my sims ignore the vampire. Others have greeted the vampire and had the same result.
Vampires don’t return. Vlad is the key to this and with him not in the save, the story never starts.
Of course there are always exceptions but four of us have tested this now and it’s worked. Delete Vlad and you can have the GP without the vampires bothering your sim (they will still spawn, it is a vampire GP but at least they won’t enter your sims home uninvited).
Please reblog for those who want the GP and didn’t want the vampires entering their homes.
(As far as the invasion goes? I was never able to replicate that and neither was anybody else including the guru. I have NO IDEA why so many are saying this is happening on the official forum. Since they didn’t do the extensive testing we did and they didn’t list what they did do? I can’t say.)

So the game now invade your lot with vampires? thought they said there would be no invasion? :P i have only play 6 hoursish in total since the release of the GP and have not noticed an invasion!? other then my vampire sim going to other people houses and turning them XD loool...
