Must be cozy to live on a ranch and ride your horse home. Came across these lovely images of a ranch house in Texas.

INTERIOR DESIGNER Chrissie Cremers' 50's style editorial
Editorial: Retro decor in pastel colors
Love these editorial pictures by Amsterdam based interior designer/stylist Chrissie Cremers. Her conceptual styling has been featured in Elle Decor. Cremers' style is quite graphic, fresh and humorous.

ARCHITECTURE Organic tunnel by Capella Garcia Architectura, Barcelona
Capella Garcia Arquitectura designed this eco friendly organic space which was showcased for a brief period during Casa Decor 08 in Barcelona. The conceptual space invited its visitors to travel along the tunnel revealing the possibilities of an ecological and organic material developed by Resyrok. The theme was 'Pathway to a sustainable environment'. The lighting in the space changed color and shape while you walk through it. Casa Decor is an annual event which shows the leading edge of interior design and decoration from prestigious architects and designers from around the world.

TRENDHOME Mauricio Arruda Apartment//A Mid-Century Classic in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Mauricio Arruda Apartment // A Mid-Century Classic in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Love the look of this cozy 50's style Brazilian apartment, where designer and architect Mauricio Arruda lives.
''I redid this place to work as my laboratory of ideas that surround my mind. It is a reflection of my mood, my memories, my view on things, and what grabs my attention in the world.'' Mauricio Arruda
The 150 square meters apartment went through major architectural renovation when Mauricio knocked down all the walls except the central pillar that holds the space together. Open spaces dominate the look of many Brazilian interior environment today. Besides letting in sunlight it speaks to Brasil's free spirited nature. The black floor and white walls make the furniture stand out. Many of the furnitures are mid century classics, such as the George Nelson Bubble Lamp (1947) in the living room. The dining room table 'House of Cards', designed by Mauricio Arruda looks well Jasper Morrrison's green chairs designed for Magis in 2005. The walls are filled with diverse works from Brazilian artists.
