When you discuss history with the typical person I’ve found that their fist question is ‘What’s you favorite battle?’.
I don’t study history for blood and body count. Of course I know the details having studied it, but history is more than just a series of battles until we stumble into the present. There’s human growth. An increase in love and understanding. I study history for future change and understanding. How does the common saying go? Knowing the past is predicting the future?
Call me old fashioned, but my principal still is:
For the people, not the war.
while you studied the blade i studied the forge so i could make you the very best blade in the world! love you baby
