I'd like to make a list of terms that are somewhat similar to transIDs but specifically aren't transids and are actually in good faith. ...Does that make sense? I hope that it does. Here are the terms I can think of:

NeoAGAB / XenoAGAB (These were coined at different times, but from what I can tell both mean the same thing)

Basically, terms that are not intended to hurt anyone and may be useful to people with atypical dysphoria from any cause. May I ask @dissodic-archive to signal boost? I feel like your blog's followers would be the right audience to show me more terms like these.

*edit* Removed xen0malady, I was under the impression it wasn't originally a radqueer term, but it was. I did see a mention of "parabled" or something similar for system members, if anyone has any info on that please show me!

Antis are actually so braindead oh my god

Propaganda is specifically designed to form a narrative using misinformation. It's literally just lying and manipulating facts to deceive people into believing a specific political agenda. Propaganda takes many forms and is something you see being spread everywhere. Not just coming from movies or books but the news, politicians, and even educators.

Fiction, on the other hand, is just people making shit up for fun. Literal play pretend. Its *can* affect reality but not to the extent that some people believe it does; if that was the case then slasher fans would be killing people left and right ,which they arent. Most things "caused" by fiction can be easily attributed something else.

A lot of people in the comments brought up the slenderman stabbings and the jaws myth, which is absolutely fuckinh stupid imo

The slenderman stabbing wasn't caused by slenderman the fictional character, but by shared delusion. One of the girls was already diagnosed with schizophrenia prior to the case and the other was diagnosed afterward. Blaming this on slender fucking man is not only stupid but also incredibly disrespectful to the victim.

The jaws myth is like... Basically just bullshit. People were already afraid of sharks before t jaws, and violence against sharks has more to do with greed and money than anything else. Like of you wanna get mad at people killing sharks, then get mad at the shark finning industry, not at a movie

Being proship doesn't mean you like every trope/ship. It means you won't harass over it.

You are allowed to dislike things! You are allowed to think they're gross! You don't even need to like any ship to be proship— these qualities don't make you a phony or less proship.

Proship means anti harassment. If you believe in freedom in fiction and that harassment over fiction is wrong, you are proship.
