Okay the split is complex. This is not just a brother thing. Other elements are politicking, in the band and at ignition managment. I love both Noel and Liam although brought me into the fold and I worked up Don’t Believe The Truth. Liam is nothing like his public persona. When I met him the first time I was very surprised what a funny switched on bloke he was. As a veteran rock cynic it did cross my mind that he was putting on an act. However in the 18 months we slaved as a unit on the record, I can say Liam is a diamond geezer. True he is not articulate like Noel. I also admire Noel’s honesty. Like me and my bro, those two can piss each other off wth a look across a room no one else clocks. I don’t feel comfortable washing Oasis dirty laundry in public. Indeed the split if it lasts is a culmination of many things as I said not all to do with Liam and Noel’s relationship. I don’t blame anyone for taking the view Liam is a nob. Trust me I’ve worked with a lot of bands over the years and I can say Liam is the most misrepresented guy I know. And you know what? He doesn’t care. He has a big heart that man.
