ah hi there!
Lightning has lost interest in this blog and I kind of burnt myself out writing for other fandoms, so I'm not sure if this blog will make a comeback again
that said if I do call it quits, I'll leave this blog up for archival purposes!

he’d apologize for what happened in SIN until you stop him. you have to explicitly tell him that apologizing isn’t necessary or he won’t stop
good sport about sparring! he’ll spar with whoever asks him politely basically and he’s always open to criticism or giving criticism constructively
okay but high-key Servants fall for him really easily and he knows it but he tries to be not awkward
in this second life, he doesn’t fear poison, even though that’s how he died in his first life
My I ask for a headcanon on how Gilgamesh x read would work out if the reader was a very sassy, not taking you bull Latina that honestly came for a good time but is feeling attacked right now so I will fight by throwing my shoe and your face. Treat me right arrogant king! Like how would that relationship work out? How did it even start?
in Gilgamesh’s eyes, you are nothing special. just another annoying mongrel that dares to stand in his way. that’s how it starts out
naturally, he doesn’t understand what you mean by “I came here for a good time but honestly feel so attacked right now” and for a while, he won’t even remember why or when you said it
actually, side note, for all of his modern style cough his costume he really doesn’t know any references so please enlighten him
but the first thing that really intrigues him is how you always have a great comeback to basically anything that comes out of his mouth
at first, he finds it disrespectful that you’re always talking back to him, but it doesn’t take him long to begin respecting your responses, quick and witty as you are
it takes a little while longer for him to actually permit you to banter with him, once he figures out that maybe you could be equal to him in terms of sassiness
he’ll never concede that you’re the sassier one between the two of you, even after he’s fallen for you
because it’s your sharp tongue that draws him in, makes him really view you in a different light, and it’s your personality, the way that you always have a clever counter to his statements that really pushes him to fall
and as for your relationship? everything said between you is half-serious half-banter because that’s the natural state between you two. it’s your actions, no matter how foolish, that are truly genuine, and no one else can understand that

but honestly, I can’t see him as actually getting angry enough to seek vengeance because his fuse just seems so long
but maybe it’s actually a lot shorter than what you thought and maybe he snaps in places where neither you nor Scathach wait that’s not vengeance that’s anger whoops
the way he would find his revenge, should he ever get to that point, would be very slow, contrary to what you might think, at least coming from him
he would carefully study his victim, analyzing them for the greatest weaknesses for him to exploit
I’m not exactly sure how to describe revenge, but his revenge would be neat, slow, and painful for his victim. how slow and painful depends on what he’s trying to get revenge on

she’s a huge sweet tooth and Shuten never ceases to rub that in her face
for a Berserker, she’s actually quite tough
and also for a Berserker, she’s very ticklish and hates this fact very much
she tries really hard to be a big, bad demon, but she doesn’t really realize that it’s not working
she’s actually really sweet and caring, but with her reputation at Rashomon and Shuten, she thinks she has to be that tough
she’s ticklish?? but her ticklish spots are really hard to find, and she’s always hiding them
she’s really just a child that has to pretend to be an adult. please spoil her

Technically yes, but we haven't been writing for a while. Summer just started for us, but Mod Lightning kind of lost interest in this blog and I'm running into major writer's block ~ mod Jade

Shiki and Killing (How I Interpret it)
I was watching Kara no Kyoukai recently so I guess that's why I'm doing this -mod Lightning
Shiki claims to be able to kill anything that's alive, including the living dead, which she actually did. I forgot what I'm doing with this post. Okay. I feel like Shiki is lying when she says that she can kill anything because she can kill things that aren't living, unless magic is alive. She killed Asagami Fujino's Mystic Eyes of Something (I forgot what). Her Mystic Eyes are basically her magic (I think), so when Shiki killed her twist (magic? eyes? stuff?), she killed magic. This might be wrong if magic was alive/living. I forgot what I'm trying to say. I guess I'm trying to say that Shiki can kill anything that exists. When she woke up from her coma (after SHIKI died), she saw the Lines of Death of the vase of flowers, as well as a calendar Kokutou placed on the table. I bet if she touched the Line on the calendar, it would break. So really, Shiki can not only kill living things, but non-living things as well. She never fought anything not-really-dead except the zombie [going] after Touko a few times. She considered it "living" because zombies are the living dead, so I guess zombies aren't really dead.
So I guess the main point of this post is to talk about Shiki's Mystic Eyes of Death Perception (although I never said anything about them) and what they allow her to kill. Shiki can kill anything that exists.
Someone help me interpret how she couldn't kill Araya (when she first encountered him). He's there and moving, so Shiki should be able to kill him, but she couldn't. It seems like his real body is in the basement, so that would mean the body Shiki saw was a projection, which she should be able to kill. Later, she did kill him, but why couldn't she kill him then?
This is something we shouldn't think too hard on this.

do expect him to get souvenirs for his friends, and practical jokes for his frenemies
he’s terrible at packing, and he absolutely hates how Emiya always finds that he’s missing something essential
also, he hates that he has to use Emiya’s checklist for packing
don’t expect him to be calm or still, or that you’re going to be left behind. he’s going to drag you literally everywhere
but always bring a map, because he is always going to forget and his sense of direction isn’t great

Gilgamesh and Ozymandias funded this whole project
but Nero Caster, Hohenheim, and da Vinci and other strong Servants (Kintoki Berserker, Heracles, etc.) did the actual building
da Vinci did the design
but of course our king gave da Vinci a few requests
so did Ozymandias, but all he asked for was a pyramid
so he gets one of those egg chairs where you sit in an egg, but instead of an egg shape it’s a pyramid
anyways, they’ve got like a 64-person Wii U (courtesy of da Vinci), an Xbox One that supports 64 people (again, courtesy of da Vinci), too many Nintendo Switches, a couple Nintendo 64s here and there, and too many PS4s
getting Super Smash bros. was a mistake

Jeanne d'Arc and Emiya see no point in all of this and tend to chide any of the gamers
kids are not allowed in the game room. Not even Atalante would let herself play
all the Riders get way too into any racing game, so Mariokart is also a huge mistake
any strategy games played with Lord El-Melloi II is a mistake
basically, Gilgamesh and Ozymandias have to face the consequences of their choice
but Ozy’s too busy cheating with sphinxes to care
and Enkidu hasn’t stopped Gilgamesh yet
actually, speaking of Enkidu, they’re the only person who can actually win against Gilgamesh, no matter what character he plays as
I’d like to add that Iskandar spends like 24/7 of the time in that room and Lord El-Melloi II spends a bit less, but Iskandar asks him waaayy too often to play with him and he likes spending time with Iskandar so he doesn’t refuse that much.
