YAP AND OVERTHINKING! WALL OF TEXT!!!!!!
I find it hard to put Mitch in the canon events because Mitch is not a side character, they would not sit still, they are changing the whole story. I don’t believe in that “canon events should happen” cuz each action of us change the whole world imo. So Mitch’s existence would change everything and I DON’T KNOW what to do about it.
Like, if I was to write their AU, the whole Eye of Midnight stuff would be less of a problem because Mitch’s magic is exactly about souls; they would find a way to exorcise them. Even so, Patry somehow is not detected and goes to kill Julius like intended? No way they are letting it happen, William is dying if that means Julius stays alive. OK, somehow they didn’t make it? Julius is alive as a teenager and Mitch is crashing out and William is dying no matter what LMAO (I FORGIVE WILLIAM OK. BUT MITCH DOES NOT AND WE ARE CERTAIN OF IT).
That would change so much stuff, especially if Mitch’s magic is actually linked to Lucius. After that I don’t know how things would go because I’m never finishing to read Black Clover so I’ll never know, but we can be sure many things would change.
Andddd thinking about the AU of The AU. Mitch is in a past where no one remembers about them, they are alone again and going crazy because they don’t know what could be worst: Julius being dead (in their universe) or Julius not recognizing them (in Ry’s universe).
Beside it, Morgen IS alive. Mitch does not feel attracted to Morgen again, because it has been 10 years, Mitch is an adult and Morgen is not, that would be weird, and Mitch loves Julius now. BUT no way Mitch is letting him die this time. They WILL do something about Nacht and Morgen. They’re either convincing Nacht to give up on that demon idea (eh ig that’s impossible) or saving Morgen when he goes help Nacht. So we say Morgen stays alive but Nacht failed the demon thing, and now Nacht will be way bitter about Morgen for meddling in, for messing up his plan. So instead of changing his ways like in the canon, it’s most likely Nacht will become worse; how much worse is the question. Just sad-like worse? Angry? Doing dangerous stuff? A villain? I DON’T KNOW!!!!!!!!!! I don’t know the characters well enough to say how far they would stray of the canon story!!
And that’s why I find it hard to write an actual story with Mitch and end up writing one-shots🧍🏽
