there's an argument to be made that if the soul in deltarune and undertale are one in the same then killer should definitely hold some form of knowledge about/connection to the dark worlds.

this is a really interesting concept but I'm only interested in it because realistically in lore this would make it so nightmare, built from swap, who wouldn't know about the dark worlds, has no fucking idea what killer is going on about when he keeps asking for a "kawkaw"

how can nightmare be evil he's literally housing an unmedicated schizophrenic addict (dust), a paranoid schizophrenic (error), someone who basically lost their entire family (cross), not to mention he's giving an erratic psychopath (killer) a safe way to express their desire to hurt others and giving someone whose AU was abandoned by the star sanses (horror) free housing and food in exchange for the occasional manual labour job
