Yellowjackets Kinktober FAQ

What is Kinktober? Kinktober is a month long fic event, with a kink prompt for each day!

Who can participate? Anyone who is 18+ who wants to! (I have no way of checking your ID, so consider this on the honor system.)

Are there any ships that aren't allowed? Nope! This includes crossovers!

Can I provide prompts? Sure, if you'd like!

Do I have to write every day? You are free to write as many or as few as you would like!

Where would I post it? You are free to post it in the AO3 collection (which you can find here), or on tumblr. Please tag @yjkinktober2025 or tag it #yellowjacketskinktober2025!

I've never heard of some of these kinks/that kink doesn't seem particularly kinky! I wanted to throw in a full variety, so everyone would have a chance to stretch their metaphorical legs a bit!

i think some of you just got too used to only encountering kink on ao3 and this stupid little website. i hate to break it to you but some straight women are into it too. with men, yeah. yes, in our current political climate even. no, this isn't inherently regressive or catering exclusively to the man in the situationship. some women just like to get freaky and if they're straight that means it's with some guy. sad but true. some lady wrote twilight fanfic and got big famous about it. you don't even need to have a sex drive to be into kink. live laugh love happy pride everybody

UAQ (Unfrequently asked questions)

Q: Is there a deadline for when I can post my fics or art by?

A: nope! if you're speedy, feel free to post them on the days of the prompt. but if you're anything like me (slow and steady wins the race), then take as long as you want! you can post stuff out of order too.

Q: what constitutes as adult timeline? does early post rescue count?

A: this is one I've given much thought to and ultimately decided, no. early post rescue does not count. as much as i love seeing fics about that, this is not the event for it. I would define adult timeline as the adult timeline we've seen in the show so far. it can be a few years before or after that, if you'd wish.

Q: Do I have to use both prompts? (this is a restatement)

A: nope! you can use either or. using both can be fun if you'd like though.

Q: Is there a collection for me to put fanfics into?
