Moiraine and Lan are truly perfect characters for hurt/comfort fics. two very stoic people who will put themselves in harm's way for the greater good but can't stand to see each other hurt. they're emotionally closed off to everyone but each other. they can literally feel each other's pain. Moiraine can heal any injury but her own. Lan will probably kill himself in a fit of grief if he feels her die. absolutely goated whump potential here.
