Mini always had trouble with opening up to people, mostly men, because of what happened to her when she was alive. Them being in personal space made her uncomfortable, it had took her a while to even look the sire in the eyes instead of shying away from him. Namshin was no different, but as soon she felt and knew that this man was nothing like the ones she came to know her green house became open to him right away. She pouted at the idea of him leaving again, just so he could get her to say those things, “It hurts to be lonely, I rather just have you here and just say it whenever you want to hear it.” She stated to him with a firm nod, trying not show how shy she was becoming with how the conversation was progressing.
She nodded, not really seeing the point of being curious if it was something the sire wanted for him, until she realized he was being sarcastic. Mini shook her head, “I remember when I had to join it as well. Didn’t stay long, which surprised me.” Her first days of being a vampire was the most scariest bit of her life. The hunger almost eating you from the inside, every smell or sight making you want to tear into any human’s skin and suck them dry. She didn’t feel like herself, hysteria clouding her brain. But because of her will to not hurt anyone, even if the hunger was oh so compelling, the goodness of her heart made her snap out of it. Many were impressed by her will power, her strength when it came to bloodlust. “I think it’s wonderful, you offer that type of help for them, there are a lot of clans that would’ve just let them loose.”
Namshin liked some consistency in life because he was used to it -- forced into it, almost -- and so, he liked the same in death (or in this extended version of life they had. The fact that the greenhouse meets those expectations had come as a surprise, but one that was not hard to warm up to. Just like with Mini. Centuries separated him from her, but maybe she was also an old soul simply trapped into the body of a vampire with a little over four decades. He’s read about things like those before and he’s fully willing to believe in such magical happenings because if supernatural creatures can exist, so can everything else.
“Ok, but are you ready to say it like, every day? Or maybe twice a week at least? It can be a taxing task, I tend to get demanding over time. And spoiling me is such a bad idea, you can’t imagine.” he utters with nothing more than a smile and a brilliant display of moving eyebrows to keep up with his theatrical tone.
Namshin remembers when the girl had to go through the initiation process and truthfully, at the time, she was just another newborn, thirsty and confused, trying to cope with what had happened to her. Namshin knew how it was and how it felt, which was why they would always send the older vampires to look over the young ones and make sure they didn’t do anything stupid. She ended up acing the process. Whether by sheer willpower alone or because she had an innate talent, Mini was one of the first of her ‘group’ to be allowed to hunt on her own. “Well, I don’t have much of a choice, really, or more like I didn’t have at first but then I ended up actually liking doing it. It makes me reminisce about the time I used to mentor people and help them with their abilities, so it’s a responsibility I enjoy. Maybe it just makes me feel important, I don’t know.”
