I made a fullbody gijinka of this dragon I’ve got for sale, because why not! The dragon is up for auction here, and she’s a gen2 (because I have too many gen1 breeding pairs. Seriously). I may be doing a few more designs like these before I open up my art shop, because they’re quite fun :)

no shade but i just adopted out a free dragon to a newbie and they immediately exalted him.. i dont care exactly.. but this person is definitely going around to all free dragons for newbs boards and exalting dragons??/ like ok thats kind of shady

Happened to me as well :( It may be the same person, since they did it to a friend of mine as well, but they weren’t even a newbie from this registration window :| Anyway, I just blocked them. They have this text on their profile, stating that they never exalt adopted/free dragons. A blatant lie, of course. Some people…

You wouldn’t happen to be talking about someone whose name can be shortened to “MF”, would you? :x Because they’ve adopted tons of dragons from pretty much every free dragon thread currently active, if you check their post history.

They asked me for a lot of mine and when I went to see them later that day (to see if they were dressed up now or renamed or w/e, sue me I get curious) they were in completely different lairs and MF’s lair was almost entirely empty. I asked what was up with that and they deleted my message without responding. :/ They have a blurb on their profile about not exalting free dragons so we might all be talking about the same user…

This is exactly the user she's taking about. I'm the friend. I blocked them as well. Not even because they're reselling/exalting, I named all the dragons I was giving away for that exact reason, but for pretending they're a newbie in free dragons for newbies threads just to get free dragons. That and the text on their profile. That's a new kind of low for me. I wanted to give my dragons to new people to help them get started, not particularly caring about them being exalted (it happens, tastes change. I know I didn't like some of the dragons I got after a couple of days when I started) not to someone lying to my face.

Ah well, it taught me to check profiles before sending dragons over to newbies! But it's something for people to watch out for.

I feel like a weirdo whenever someone thanks me for buying their dragon off the black market auction house.

Like, cool man, you’re welcome for the cash, but I literally bought your dragon for the sole purpose of adding to my breeding project. Their life will now consist of nothing but eating, and breeding over and over again so I can sell their babies. Your dragon’s soul purpose now is to mate with whomever I choose, in order to produce aesthetically pleasing spawn. You are now an accomplice to my creepy underground hatchling factory.
