controversial take, but i genuinely hate the dorohedoro anime so much

its genuinely so ass compared to the source material like ugh.. ik im such a hater, but it does the series so fuckin dirty its not even funny. it cuts so many little character moments, changes scenes in annoying pointless ways, and just chooses to leave out fairly important shit for zero reason. dont get me wrong, season 2 (up until these last two episodes) fixed most of the pacing issues i had with season 1 and its an extreme visual upgrade. i just genuinely hate it so much to the point of like mental torment. looking through the tag rn feels like the aversion therapy scene in clockwork orange (minus most of the new fanart i love you all)

aikawa/post-zagan "kaiman" x nikaido - its not the worst ever, but as an aikawa lore scholar (aka autistic) its genuinely such a bad pairing its not even funny. like don't get me wrong, post canon kaiman x nikaido is genuinely so cute and fine and i don't mind it, but anyyyyyy aikawa/kaiman and nikaido pairings before that are lowkey gross and horrible. like i love aikawa, but hes a piece of shit. he's a bad dude and i'm not sayin he'd beat on nikaido type of bad, but as we saw with risu he's a fuckin sneak who just hides shit all the time and ngl i think he'd still kinda be that way even without kai/hole's influence

asu/kawajiri x risu - my doomed yaoi makes ts so impossiblr in my brain and like.. idk i just don't think they fw each other like that? like ig i can see it post-canon during devil training, but any time before that is a hard no and gives me the ick tbh. i genuinely don't think risu could get over aikawa until wellllllll into his devil training, but that's just me

dokuga x kai - ewewewewewew ts is vile :( like is there technically anything wrong with it? ig not... but i think you're a weird fuck. lowkey block me if you ship this, i really do not fuck with it at all and idk you do you ig, but i don't wanna see it. it's just so like... listen, i get ONE-SIDED dokuga x kai cause that mfer (dokuga) is pining like crazy, but making kai genuinely reciprocate, initiate stuff, or whatever is so gross ew
