IĀ“ll continue from where I stopped, this chapters play a huge part in understanding Sangwoo and Bum~
We see Bum how heĀ“s used to be SangwooĀ“s personal maid. HeĀ“s currently cooking but he let the pot fall on the ground. Immediately after that happened, heĀ“s already fearing what Sangwoo will do to punish his actions.
I donĀ“t know if itĀ“s important or not, but Bum has no more bruises on his body, so maybe Sangwoo stopped hitting him recently. And maybe this has to do with their sexual intercourse, but IĀ“m not sure.
But still, Bum is fearing Sangwoo when he getĀ“s mad so heĀ“s trying to soothe him,Ā ācleaning upā the best he can. Of course itĀ“s stupid to do this with his sleeve, heĀ“ll only dirty it and it wonĀ“t be much help.
But Sangwoo immediately stopped Bum and pulled him up. Bum, thinking heĀ“d get hit for his actions and didnĀ“t expect Sangwoo to actual care about his body. HeĀ“s cooling BumĀ“s arm who got in touch with the hot food.Ā
Bum of course, feels uncomfortable because he doesnĀ“t know whatĀ“s going on in SangwooĀ“s mind. I think canĀ“t really believe that Sangwoo cares for him and is thinking of some kind of fool play. We know Sangwoo, we also know that he would totally go for this only to confuse Bum and play his games with him.
Despite Bum looking really cute right now with his slightly blushing face, we need to focus on what Sangwoo is saying.
HeĀ“s addressing Bum as cutie. In the past, he said BumĀ“s face was ugly and even a smile couldnĀ“t make a difference, he called him some horrible things only to call him cutie now?Ā
WhatĀ“s with the sudden change of mind? Bum doesnĀ“t know how to respond, this is new to him. Sangwoo never was this nice to him, even calling him cutie, itĀ“s confusing our Bum even more and he probably doesnĀ“t know how to feel right now.
Sangwoo suddenly switched to a nice person.
So Bum saying ā the best of allā which means there are other things that he thinks of as good. HeĀ“s starting to enjoy living with Sangwoo ladies and gentleman.
I think that his love is growing as well. HeĀ“s thinking fondly of Sangwoo because heĀ“s treating him better than before. TheyĀ“re living together now, just like a normal couple would do. Bum is holding onto this, thinking that Sangwoo might start feeling the same, that he kind of changed Sangwoo with hisĀ āgoodā behavior. I mean Bum is still trying to satisfy Sangwoo with everything he does so maybe he thinks that him behaving like that pleases Sangwoo.
Bum wanted to go for Sangwoo when he thought he was asleep. When Sangwoo wakes up, Bum thinks that heĀ“d be mad but actually, Sangwoo is calm and even allows Bum to continue. HeĀ“s alright having Bum as his partner.
Would you allow someone you think of as disgusting and ugly to touch you or be near you? I donĀ“t think so.
This could mean that Sangwoo really changed, even if itĀ“s a bit. Bum must notice too and takes the chance. All those kisses Sangwoo is giving him during the day, all the kind moves he makes, that heĀ“s keeping calm if Bum made a mistake, this could mean that Sangwoo is starting to like Bum.
HeĀ“s kissing him again, showing Bum that itĀ“s okay and that he wants it too. I think itĀ“s a gently kiss to show our shy Bum that he wonĀ“t do anything, that Bum can feel safe, at least for the moment.Ā
This could be the first step of a healthy relationship (of course it isnĀ“t)
So now, Bum grows more confident and even orders Sangwoo around a bit. He goes for his chance to feel Sangwoo and his affection. And Sangwoo is really doing what Bum wanted, he doesnĀ“t look like heĀ“s soo happy in the top panel but still, he doesnĀ“t look disgusted or anything. Maybe he doesnĀ“t really knew what he should do and how Bum felt so he gladly did what Bum said.
He even allows Bum to suck him now. He wants Bum to do it.
Somehow, when Bum moans SangwooĀ“s name, itĀ“s a huge turn on for him. He pulled Bum away from his d*ck, knowing that heĀ“s on the edge.
We have to remember this, this will be important in the future.

HeĀ“s okay, as long as heĀ“s by SangwooĀ“s side, and Sangwoo looks pleased by his answer. Bum knows making a ruckus wonĀ“t help and he would have no chance to go to a hospital, even if he wanted to. So why not keep calm and enjoy the nice and kind Sangwoo?Ā

Sangwoo knows how to handle Bum and keeps him nice and calm. HeĀ“s giving Bum kisses and some hugs as exchange for not making trouble. ItĀ“s a win win situation or not?
Some time passed means it went as smooth like that, he looks happy, heĀ“s okay living like this. Together with the man he adores so much.

The point is that Sangwoo wantĀ“s to leave the house and Bum is looking sad and disappointed that he has to go back to the basement.
In my opinion, Bum thought Sangwoo would trust him. He was pampered with love and yet, Bum is thinking that this was all a joke to Sangwoo. Bum thought about them as a couple or something like that and now itĀ“s a crushed dream because Sangwoo wonĀ“t even trust him to stay alone.
I think Bum didnĀ“t even think about fleeing from here, otherwise heĀ“d have another expression on his face.Ā
When Sangwoo suddenly said he could stay here, Bum looks like he fell even more in love with Sangwoo. Trust is important in a relationship, and I think Bum is thinking the same.
Sangwoo is trusting Bum, heĀ“s leaving him alone and that makes Bum so happy. In BumĀ“s way of thinking, Sangwoo is getting nicer and nicer, he stopped treating him like a prisoner.
Even thought he loves Sangwoo, he wants to escape this place. Being with a murderer isnĀ“t the best thing, is it?
But as soon as he crossed the line, he imagined what Sangwoo said. How heĀ“d slice his throat if heĀ“d ever cross the line. HeĀ“s scared and afraid, he doesnĀ“t know what he should do.
I donĀ“t know what happened but he suddenly changed his top from the the pullover he wore on the table to this one but never mind that, heĀ“s in his own delirium.
HeĀ“s thinking about what heĀ“d do if he really would flee from here. Back to his rapist uncle? Or staying at a serial killers house howĀ“s also abusive but at least gives him some love?
Sangwoo would be the better choice, or not? So in his head, Sangwoo appears and starts to mess with his thoughts. (look at that big ass feet)
Bum is unsure, both decisions arenĀ“t the best for him. HeĀ“d suffer either way and thatĀ“s what BumĀ“s realizing. HeĀ“s imagine Sangwoo, itĀ“s not the real one, but why is this Sangwoo wrapping his arms around Bum?
Maybe because Bum wantĀ“s him to hold him back
Maybe because he still thinks heĀ“s imprisoned by him
HeĀ“s seeing himself getting killed by Sangwoo, just like he said heĀ“d when Bum crossed the line. His fear of Sangwoo is getting bigger. HeĀ“s seeing Sangwoo as the killer he really is again.
Bum thinks that Sangwoo would know that he crossed the line, he knows that Sangwoo is anything but stupid. So he would definitely find out, or not?
This is driving Bum crazy and he decides to leave this madness.
But Sangwoo is sitting outside, waiting for Bum. HeĀ“s got headphones and the music is so loud that it can be heard by Bum. This has an actual meaning in my opinion.
Did Sangwoo turn the music that loud so he wouldnĀ“t hear if Bum opens the door? Could that mean that he wanted to give Bum the chance to close the door again and go back like nothing happened?
Sangwoo really wanted to trust Bum, IĀ“m sure he called his friend, saying that he wonĀ“t make it and sat outside to wait if he could really trust Bum.
He wanted to trust him, he would even have turned a blind eye on Bum if he opened the door. Curiosity kills the cat.
DonĀ“t believe him, he fell for it. He wanted to trust Bum so much. Sangwoo wanted to have someone he could trust, he even told Bum about his past, isnĀ“t that proof enough that he thought that Bum could be the one?
Everyone needs someone to rely on, and Bum kind of crushed SangwooĀ“s hope.Ā
I think now heĀ“s overplaying how heĀ“s feeling. HeĀ“s in the state where you donĀ“t care anymore what happened, so heĀ“s like this.
But maybe, maybe deep down he screams for help because he knows Bum deserves better. I mean, the cops could drive by his house again and hear him, or not?Ā
IĀ“m 92% sure this isnĀ“t what was going on but still, could be nice if you know that Sangwoo has a piece of humanity left in him.
DidnĀ“t he say if Bum crosses the line, heĀ“d kill him, cut his throat etc. etc. etc.
But now heĀ“s bringing him down to the basement, not even throwing him down the stairs! What happened with the violent Sangwoo who would kill in an instant?
Ā There is our violent Sangwoo again! Letting out all his anger on the poor Yoonbum. Bum tried to get out of the situation with seducing Sangwoo but it didnĀ“t work.
He called his name again, remember what I said before? Bum calling SangwooĀ“s name is important. Somehow it triggers him, IĀ“m not sure why yet.
HeĀ“s saying such things again, I think heĀ“s really, really mad at Bum and what do you do if youĀ“re really really mad at someone? You insult them.
Just like girls call other girls bitch, Sangwoo is calling Bum gross. HeĀ“s just a human after all who feels betrayed by someone who he thought he could trust.
See that reaction? Bum is calling for help, heĀ“s calling SangwooĀ“s name. And this affects Sangwoo, theĀ āthumpā could mean that suddenly, SangwooĀ“s heart began to beat faster.Ā

Still, Bum calls out for Sangwoo, he got no one else to call for. Sangwoo is his center of life, heĀ“s begging to be saved by him. i think Sangwoo realized that still, heĀ“s BumĀ“s one and only and thatĀ“s what triggers him.
After all he did to Bum, the black haired boy still calls for him.
In the second panel, you can see that BumĀ“s hands are not on the rope anymore, heĀ“s reaching out for Sangwoo. He wants to be saved by SangwooĀ“s hands so bad.
Sangwoo got hard and jerked off to Bum calling his name. I donĀ“t understand this part but maybe itĀ“s just his psychopath side, getting turn on by his victims criesā¦

So now Bum is trying to talk to him and scolds him. HeĀ“s treating Sangwoo as a normal human, not trying to behave like Sangwoo wants him to. (guess itĀ“s to late for that anyways because he crossed the line)
Sangwoo looks kind of confused, to me he looks like he was never scolded or something.
After a bit of torture and stuff we see Sangwoo in a gay bar together with the old man. I donĀ“t know why Sangwoo was with a man, he said himself since he killed his father, he never killed a man again so why is he suddenly in a gay bar? And on top of that with an old geezer?
Sangwoo looks like someone who wouldnĀ“t want to be bottomed, so why playing along with an old man and his card tricks?
As they got serious and the man wanted Sangwoo to give him a blowjob, we get this panel of a shocked Sangwoo.
In my opinion he really didnĀ“t think about him being forced to do something. HeĀ“s normally the one forcing others so maybe that what shocked him and made him bring this man to his house.
He said they should continue at his house to because he was corned.
WasnĀ“t it lonely for him too then?
Bum looks 1000% done with his life look at him and his tired and worn out face? He had enough time down there to think about every wrong decision in his life he ever made so of course, he looks miserable.Ā
Sangwoo forced him to asked where he was and Bum is just so tired and afraid that he gave in and did as he was told.
So Sangwoo forced the man as well to answer BumĀ“s forced question and maybe this has a deeper meaning as well.
Maybe, Sangwoo wants to let Bum know that he was with other men, trying to make Bum feel as nothing special. Trying to make him jealous perhaps?
After they played the game Sangwoo wanted them to, it seems like heĀ“s surprised that Bum had won so easily. I think he wanted to make Bum suffer more and fear for his life once again, so he just brushed BumĀ“s win off withĀ āIt was a practice roundā.
Bum looks so lost and done with life that even Sangwoo feels (a little) bad for him. Look at his way of looking at Bum, heĀ“s a bit surprised and maybe even confused why Bum is like that.
Sangwoo can lean back but for Bum it costs his life if heĀ“ll lose. Maybe Sangwoo doesnĀ“t know why Bum looks like that because he thought that Bum would figure out that he wouldnĀ“t let Bum die that easily. Bum is still special to him, or not?
So Bum thinks that Sangwoo hates him now and he wants him to die so bad that he said it was a practice round just to make him feel more sh*tty than he already feels.
HeĀ“s on the edge of crying because he realized that this will be his end. But Sangwoo actually wants to help him out, even thought he covered it in such an idiotic act to hurt Bum more and more. Our Yoonbum is already a wreck and doesnĀ“t know anything anymore. HeĀ“s played with every day, was left alone in the dark basement and this sure hits on his mental state.Ā
After Sangwoo made clear that he wanted to help Bum, you can see his cracked smile. He got that small hope again that Sangwoo is just playing with him, but heĀ“s still SangwooĀ“s special person.
Maybe Bum thinks of this as punishment for betraying Sangwoo like that before, but after all, Sangwoo cares for him.
Sangwoo looks unsure how to deal with the crying Bum who thinks heĀ“s going to die soon. In my opinion, Sangwoo never wanted to kill Bum, whatever Bum did, he would somehow forgive him.
So for Sangwoo, it was obvious that Bum would not die so maybe he just didnĀ“t think about how Bum feels and that he canĀ“t know what heĀ“s thinking.
He feels bad for Bum and tries to calm him down, maybe not wanting him to look so scared and afraid of what will happen.
He is human after all, even if itĀ“s sometimes hard to believe.
Seriously, Sangwoo canĀ“t think of Bum as ugly or disgusting, in my point of view, Bum is adorable and not some scum. HeĀ“s even beautiful when heĀ“s crying and Sangwoo must see it that way too. He doesnĀ“t look grossed out when he looks at Bum.
HeĀ“s calming him down, caring for him once again. ItĀ“s not necessary for him to be that close to Bum, he could have just stayed beside him and point at the man. But heĀ“s going for skinship so maybe, this has a meaning?
Is he trying to make Bum feel safe with his bodily warmth?
