Before S8 drops tonight, I just want to say that it’s been an honor flying with you all.

The VLD/Klance community gets a lot of shit for being “toxic,” but I can honestly say that my time here has been AMAZING and I don’t regret joining the fandom one bit. I’ve met so many wonderful people here who have become my friends, and that never would have happened if I hadn’t created this blog.

Thank you to all the wonderful artists and writers who have given us beautiful works of fanart and fanfiction. You and your creations have touched so many people and inspired others with the love and passion you have shared.

Thank you to all the brilliant meta theorists who have analyzed scenes, pointed out details, noticed parallels, and put these pieces together in ways that have blown my mind and energized me like nothing else.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has been a part of the community in any way, whether you’re a heavy reblogger or a silent lurker who likes things here and there. Every interaction, no matter how big or small, has brought life to this fandom, and will continue to do so moving forward.

No matter what happens, whether Klance is canon or not, whether S8 is great or an absolute trainwreck (which I don’t think it will be), I will always associate VLD, Klance, and the fan community with incredibly positive feelings, and it’s all because of you.

me: valid. beautiful. creative. i love it when we come together as a fandom and don’t hate on each other, instead create something beautiful because we do actually love the show and want to take our favorite bits and make something amazing

so I keep getting dms about ‘defenders of tomorrow’ and how I’m ‘buying voltron’ so I want to clear some things up:

I’m not actually making a reboot,,

im just a girl in highschool who makes voltron fanart. The leakira thing is kinda an au? A futuristic but sorta neon version of klance, if you will. No ones buying voltron or harassing Lauren Montgomery to make klance canon. It’s just a bunch of artists having fun and creating content.

I’m sorry if you feel attacked by this reboot thing. I captioned my fanart as ‘gaytron 2028’ on twt and apparently a lot of stans who are unaware of it being an au are upset about it. It’s just a bunch of fans coming up with headcanons,, nothing more

there are a lot of ppl who are serious about making this a fan project, and to them I say thank you. and also to the non shippers adding their own head canons, I love you!!

This isn’t mine but I read it and wanted to cry? Honestly. This makes so much sense especially with the random Allurance in this season and why Keith acted like a dick to Lance this season. Don’t get me wrong, the creators have still done some things that just aren’t correct and the show has a lot of flaws that are also a product of the storytelling, but the higher ups were the ones who pushed for Adam and Shiro to be roommates and it’d make sense they’d pull this shit too.
