I saw an older post of yours and just wanted to say that it made me really happy. I’m a trans guy stuck at 4’8 (while being 21 years old) and it’s one of my biggest insecurities. I hardly ever meet anyone of the same height so it was really nice seeing that. Hope you’re doing well :)

first time I saw your art was years ago on your channel and I allways admired your art style I think is very beautiful, original and expressive :)

where do you find inspiration from?

Wowe well thank u for sticking around for so long!! This is kind of a hard thing to answer but I’ll try to give you something

In recent years, I’ve drawn a lot of inspiration from romanticizing the most mundane things, especially objects. This has gotten me to enjoy drawing detailed backgrounds and object interactions. Dude I’ll literally look forward to seeing regular water towers and stuff for this reason, it brings me a lot of joy whether I’m drawing or not. It doesn’t feel like a chore to take risks and push myself in art with this kinda mindset.

I also take a lot of inspiration from the music I listen to! They help me form new ideas, and the theme/genre influences what I’m looking to create. One of my favorites at the moment is Underscores, I highly encourage anyone to look into her Wallsocket project. Insane fucking worldbuilding skills are involved and I’m so in love with it. I also like Lemon Demon, Enjoy, Graham Kartna, 100 gecs, The Dead Milkmen, and uhhhh. Idk I listen to anything, it really depends on my mood. Ytpmvs are great too, I like silly stuff

If you’re asking about visuals, I only have vague inspirations there. I don’t watch 2000s cartoons, but I like the shape language there, so I’d say I take something from that. All kinds of vibes from the old internet too, I really love shapely clipart styles. I also tend to draw a bit from most media hyperfixations I’ve had (earthbound, splatoon, and half-life are the first to come to mind) and my friends!
