Taking a Gentle Step Back: Rediscovering the Basics in My Art Journey
Lately, I've found myself rushing through the creative process, starting with a messy sketch in the hopes that refining it later would be more efficient. But as I’ve learned, this approach has quietly been unsettling my artistic rhythm.
Those quick, chaotic sketches might seem like a good way to get my ideas out, but they’ve been clouding my ability to see the overall process of creating. The lines are often too loose, the shapes too vague, and this has made the final steps of my work feel more like a struggle than a joy.
So, I've decided to take a step back and focus on executing fine sketches with mindfulness. I believe it’s always beneficial to be more aware of one’s own flaws and areas for improvement.
