Yoru Ikari || ♐ I am a multifandom blog but am obsessed with Haikyuu to the point where it's unhealthy. Haruichi Furudate is my favorite author by far, fite me (please don't.) Anyway, my name Yoru Ikari is a screen name, as you can probably guess. It has no relation to Shinji Ikari -- hell, I didn't even know NGE existed until a year after I made the name. My favorite characters consist of trash and cinnamon rolls. My eternal favorite character ever will be Add although I've quit Elsword, but I also love the entire cast of Haikyuu... mostly the Pretty Setter Squad and half of the middle blockers. I'm also addicted to Fire Emblem Heroes.

Hey guys

So, sorry about this, but I’ve decided I will no longer update on this account. I’ve been going back and forth on plans to restart and I’ve decided that I will follow through with them.

If it weren’t for the fact about 40% of the reason I am restarting myself on the internet was to avoid a person who has been continually stalking me no matter how many attempts to stop her, I would link to my new account name. I’m afraid I will not be doing that. Not even through private message. I am starting over entirely fresh, as if none of this never happened. But I’m a nostalgic piece of trash as usual, and this account and all my other accounts named “yoruikari” will remain on the internet for me to go back and reflect in the future. After all, all my old Neopets accounts still exist lol

But it’s been a good four, five years under this name, and I’m sad to let it go! But I’m not leaving the internet entirely, just creating a new name. Maybe if you manage to stumble upon me under that new name you can find what I’m going to do in the future! I hope to do things like art commissions and prints to have a kind of second job as I enter college, and hopefully start doing more writing updates or even focus more advertisement on the books that I have been desperately trying to write for so many years.

This is a goodbye from Yoru Ikari. But it is not a goodbye entirely. The night sky shall be set clear from the light pollution and cloudy stress of before. For now, however, goodbye.

My main problem as a writer is that I don’t write because “I have a story to tell”. I write because there are worlds I want to visit, ideas I want to explore, people I want to meet, conversations I want to hear, emotions that I want to express, and impossibilities I want to make real.

Which means that I still need a fucking plot.

Listen. I want to tell you guys about the Dollar Tree. If you ever need to rebuild your life fast, you want a dollar tree. Everything in a dollar tree costs one dollar. No exceptions. Nothing has a price tag. Everything is one dollar.

Their stuff is off-brand but decent quality.  

Here are some things you can buy at the dollar tree for one dollar: 

- any kind of makeup- foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick, lip gloss, mascara, etc

- socks

- Sports bras (sometimes) 

- combs, brushes, hairclips, scrunchies, hair ties, headbands

- clothes hangers, laundry bags, mothballs

- any kind of office supplies or school supplies. Staplers, pencils, posterboard, pencils, pens, etc. 

- party supplies including paper plates and balloons

- all kinds of toiletries- shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, washcloths, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, nailclippers, etc. Decent sizes, too. 

- ceramic/glass plates, bowls, cups

- reading glasses, sunglasses

- plastic buckets

- cleaning supplies, detergent, bleach, laundry syrup, fabric softener, dish soap, sponges. brooms 

- electronics, headphones, night lights, phone chargers, batteries, screen cleaners, phone cases

Basically? If you ever get kicked out of your house or find yourself with a couple bucks and nothing else, get thee to a dollar tree.

ok so there’s a game me and my friends play called “don’t get me started” and basically someone gives another person a random topic and they have to go on an angry rant about it and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us at parties and car rides so I highly recommend playing sometimes with your friends

my mom is 61 and her bf is a huge nerd and he’s teaching her to play magic the gathering and he had her watch avatar the last airbender with him and his ringtone is terra’s theme from final fantasy 6 and he paints pictures of sephiroth. my mom’s bf is nerdier than i’ll ever be.

and she does all these pinterest crafts and now she makes little bejeweled vials of healing potions for him and his buddies. my little geek heart can’t handle all this.
