any reason you continue to defend ur dad after all of his psychological torment? sounds like your house could have benefitted from some actual communication instead of this nonchalant “i don’t lose arguments, even when people make good points against me” father you clearly had
The thing about communication is, it only works if people are willing to move past their own biases and listen. For example, in the video you're referencing here, I talk about how my sister argued that 'a lei hanging from the rearview mirror isn't a big deal, I can still see most of the road."
That was communicating to you that a conversation about the lei took place between my dad and my sister. You decided to ignore the words I was speaking because you were too busy flying off the handle toward your own conclusions. Sort of like my sister ignored my dad when he explained that a car is a machine that can kill someone and not a toy whose function is to look pretty.
"I can still see most of the road" absolutely is not 'a good point' against my dad. It's childish ignorance wrapped in a crunchy layer of petulant stubbornness. There are no 'good points against' the argument that drivers must be able to see pedestrians while driving.
Children will work backwards from a conclusion and debate you endlessly about stuff that anyone alive can plainly see is not true. Kids will stand in front of an open window and shout over the pouring rain that it is sunny enough to go to the park. You do a child no favors by pretending that there is value in endlessly arguing with nonsense for the sake of "communicating."
"We are not going to the park because it is raining, and continuing to fight with me about this will have consequences" is a concept you can and should teach your child to hear. This is how we create adults who can take "no" for an answer, rather than believing that they are entitled to endlessly bitch and moan and be accommodated with debate until they are in the mood to listen and change their mind.
For example, my child will not grow up and engage in the bizarre behavior of tracking people down on completely different platforms in order to argue wrongly for their right to project their own daddy issues onto other people's families.
But also just "psychological torment" lmao
*long drag* yeah when we argued with my dad, he used to send us into the woods to cut our own visual metaphor. He'd look it over and if it wasn't silly enough, he'd send us out for another one. TV Sock Day... that was rough. My mother had to flip it over the top of the screen to watch All My Children. She acted like she was fine, but you could see in her eyes that she was shaken. She's never been... quite the same, since then.

Okay I need help finding a fic because I feel like I’m going insane. I swear the series was called like “psychopaths in love” and it was this slave AU that was Dean being the horrible head of a crime family and Castiel being an assassin that posed as a slave to sneak in and the whole time he’s trying to bait Dean into sleeping with him. I cannot find it and it is driving me mad.
This ad took me a second to understand, I’m not gonna lie

Hey, if you didn't already know I think one of your books is involved in this AI copyright settlement lawsuit

It is, but unfortunately, I didn’t register the copyright beforehand. Registering a copyright is an in-case-I-get-sued precaution and unless you’re worried about being Addison Cain’s next victim, it’s usually not worth the effort.

do u got any tips on how to keep your room clean?
I make a to do list everyday with stuff like change sheets, make bed, take out trash, put away clothes, etc. and that helps me cause it’s fun to cross things out as I do them. I try to tidy up a few times a day.
and this goes without saying, but stimulants help a lot
There's an app called Habitica that is a to-do list but every item is now a quest.

Dear Diary,
Today I have acquired a new blorbo. It is, of course, a wretched little man with a somewhat twisted sense of honour. I put him in my blorbo basket and carried him home. Tomorrow I shall display him on the mantel when my friend comes for tea.
