The last of my VME merch haul.

1. Pamphlet from the first screening event. Photos are as follows. They included mainly interviews and a few artworks. Also showed the goods at the last page that I’ll never be able to buy anymore unless someone lists them for a reasonable price ahah

2. Acrylic standees I’ve searched for for FOREVER. I’m so lucky to have gotten them brand new!!! They are surprisingly huge. I can’t wait to put them on display!!

3. Cute spare Robehira keychain that I can use! The other one there is gonna be sealed forever haha (it was purchased from Goods Republic)

4. Rosary!!!!!!!! I’ve also been looking for this for forever!! The logo has some protective cloth but I believe this is used so I’ll be wearing this daily.

5. Grand prize from the DMM lottery event. YOU BET I GOT IT EVEN THOUGH I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW I’LL DISPLAY IT!! The cloth is microfiber and surprisingly high quality. And can anyone refuse getting a physical copy of this cute interaction?? Haha

6. Their acrylic pin trading badge set. I actually got this from Amazon.jp along with the teacups from Dantalian no Shoka but I’ll just put them here too. The artworks are so cute 😭

Vatican Miracle Examiner Limited Edition Box With Complete 3 Volume Set Contents

Another merch post haha

While doing my usual browsing, I stumbled upon this and immediately purchased it. It was brand new and sealed too! The product description says that the box case and the third volume had damages but I could barely see any. I feel truly blessed haha

Inside the cases (except the third which only had two) are three items— the DVD case, a guidebook for all the episodes in the CD, and I think a novel or commentary by the author? Google Translate images wasn’t doing its job properly but the guidebook is full of information such as character sheets for every relevant character in the episodes in the particular CD. There are also sketches of the places and scenes and some concept art, as well as interviews with the staff. At the end of the guidebook, there is a recipe by Roberto which can also be found on the official site. The guidebook in the second volume has a short manga about Bill and his coworker and it had some Chinese elements to it? I can’t read Japanese so I’m not sure what happened exactly haha

The DVD sets are a must have especially if you can read Japanese to get more in depth knowledge about the series. I could only look at the photos haha AND NOT TO MENTION THE ILLUSTRATIONS ARE GORGEOUS. The volume case had wonderfully detailed art by Thores-sensei and the CD case has really nice art in their anime style.

I was able to purchase the bonus keychains and the rosary individually though so when put together it seems like I got the preorder set. I wish I did, everything is marked up super high now. This one I got for 15,000 yen, the keychains were 2,500 (Roberto), 3,000 (Hiraga), and 1,000 (Julia) yen. I got the rosary (used) for 2,500 yen (plus a lot of fees since I got this through a proxy service.. which totaled to 3,350 plus shipping.) I wish I knew this anime when it was airing so I could have saved so much money (｡ ́︿ ̀｡)

Not an art post but I bought the Vatican Miracle Examiner calendar!! Sorry for the weird angles, the light is too bright.

Sorry if the frame around isn’t symmetrical, my phone is too slim to have a wide screen(?). I wonder if I could print this on a transparent acrylic so I can take Hiraga with me when I travel. It would be so cute 😭 Roberto is also in the photo.. you can try looking for him 👀 BG is mine when we traveled to a remote island.

Sorry for being inactive!

So many things happened and I’ve been posting on my Twitter instead, but I will finally start to draw more starting today and update this blog.

I’m honestly in love with NieR:Automata and everything related to it. 

I’ve actually been listening to the first game’s OST since last year and became obsessed with them [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8DDD2D047A076DC8], and was thrilled when they announced Automata. Its OST is equally amazing, if not more, and now I’m stuck to it for months now and don’t get tired of it; my favorite so far is Peaceful Sleep, followed by Vague Hope.

Hoping to earn enough money to buy merchandise. I’ve yet to see a figure that captures every detail that the characters possess!

Also, my favorite character is Nines. He’s so adorable and just full of despair omg;;; He reminds me of a puppy

I honestly love these two. Their theme is so cheerful and the ZUNpet really sounded so spectacular there ahah. When I first encountered them, I got frustrated because Unzan’s spells were really difficult, especially the part when he--- nevermind, the entire duration of the fight was difficult and so fast-paced. I was surprised when they were announced as playables in Hopeless Masquerade, and boy did I love using them when the demo came out! It’s so satisfying to punch enemies lmao.

@realcivicrose was discussing their backstory to me and I got surprised at how brutal it sounds _

I’m going to finish my current commission with a friend before finishing the prompts I missed, and then start drawing fanart of NieR: Automata! That game is really amazing, and I didn’t expect how tearjerking it is. ;_; Everyone did nothing wrong, especially Pascal ;_; I’m looking forward to expanding my skillset by attempting to draw backgrounds! (The City Ruins is the most beautiful place in the game imo)
