Season 1 of Welcome to Derry was great. I think its such a perfect way to handle expanding on an existing thing - take some stuff we know (the black spot fire for example) and build on that while still respecting the original ideas. Anyways, here’s Periwinkle.
I didn’t realize that it was Madeleine Stowe until after the show ended, and then I looked her up to see what I knew her from and it turns out all I’ve seen her in was 12 Monkeys, and I haven’t seen that movie in like 30 years, so how the hell did I know Madeleine Stowe?

-In essence, Ruth and Richie are supposed to share the role of Max. Ruth would be the leader of the drama club, being quite popular due to her confidence and performances, representing the school several times, which would make her valuable. Ruth and Richie would control the school because they could ruin anyone's reputation and be beyond reproach before any teacher.
The accomplices of these two would be Grace and Gabe, who get them gossip and rumors about others, and sometimes even do their dirty work for them. Grace is in the drama club mostly because she wants to make her uncle proud. Grace is only in the club because Ruth allows it, since Grace acts terribly. More than anything, she's there to encourage Ruth or do the actors' makeup before a performance; afterward, she's really on her phone. Ruth and Grace spend almost all their time together, although Ruth mostly does it to make sure Grace doesn't start drinking.
Here I made the prudes (those who appear in the abstinence camp) have an addiction so the camp would be a rehabilitation center, Steph would enter because of a rumor that she was seen smoking, and Solomon would send her to rehab to appeal to the conservative public.
