Going back through my old posts and reading how much of a terror Nala was. It took almost 10 years, but she finally lets me sleep! Actually her new thing is the bully the shit out of me until we go to bed. J went back to the night shift at the beginning of this year (🖕🏻 Stellantis) so it’s just me and her again at night. Usually around 7pm she’s ready for us to go to the bedroom and boy does she make her displeasure known if I don’t go when she’s ready. She’s been having a lot of heath problems, nothing serious but she had a really bad skin and ear infection, and we’re still trying to clear that up. She turns 10 in November and I’ve been thinking a lot about how we may not have many more years left with her. She’s a big dog and they typically don’t live as long, which breaks my heart. Even with all my crabbing, I still love the absolute shit out of her. She makes our house a home and I’m going to be crushed the day we have to say goodbye. She’s our baby😢😭

Kitchen last week (yes it’s a hot mess😅) I covered the countertops in cement last summer and so far they’ve held up pretty good.

Kitchen this week😍 We’re still undecided about knobs. Leaning towards yes, but we thought we’d give it a little time to see how we liked them without. We also decided on a new paint color, just need to find the time to paint. Crazy we’ve been in the house almost 10 years already!!
