This was NOT a threesome. Even if you are loyal to one LI this reaction is the same. They did not expect the mc to say something so crass and that's why they were surprised and shocked. And regarding threesomes, it's ONLY happened in bloodbound and ACoR because those are not your day to day genres. And there is no such trend whatsoever. And in open heart you can have sex with only one LI. As far as I know, PB won't make threesomes and orgy the new norm.
