I'm great! Alyssa is wonderful. She's is crawling and getting so close to walking. Her personality is shining through and she's becoming such a little person. I love watching her grow! :)

Thanks. I lied to myself and others. He was very abusive! I finally found the strength to get away. My boyfriend was my husband's best friend but he and I became very close friends and hung out alot! We just fit so perfect.. it's like we were made for each other and once I finally found the strength to get away.. i was free to finally be with the one I always wanted :) we are so happy!

I was/am. I found I was with the wrong person. I am now getting ready to finalize my divorce and move on with life with my bf by my side :)

Hey i hope I'm not too late.So sorry i haven't been on tumblr in quite a while...I brought A LOT of breast pads. I found i didn't need that much because Alyssa was glued to my boobs lol but you may.I used the hospital pads simply because any normal pad would not do. I also used their disposable underwear because it was a mess and i didn't want to spend money on underwear i would have to throw away after one use.I brought diapers, but was so tired I just used what the hospital offered and was happy to take any freebies!I also brought a robe which was my best friend after I finally got out of the gown. And slippers! Touches of home really help you to feel yourself. And as many cute outfits for your little :) i did skin to skin almost the whole first week of Alyssa's life but they were fun for pics :) hope I helped and wasn't too late!

MIA

I have been neglecting tumblr for some time now... Since leaving my husband and moving in with my boyfriend I have found it hard to act like everything is normal. Alyssa and I are very happy and getting away was the best thing to happen to us. I always pretended my marriage was great.. not to deceive others, but to deceive myself. I couldn't face the true misery I lived in every day. I have finally found happiness; I have learned what true love feels like and I now know my own worth. Alyssa is so happy to see me myself again I will never again put up with abuse and being drug down. It's only uphill from here!
