I know there’s a delay in this, with Ozine happening and me waiting for the rest of the premieres to arrive. Here’s a short recap of what happened in my Spring shows:
Kumamiko - Machi was dared by Natsu to buy a “HEATTECH” product at Uniqlo and it ended up a hilarious challenge. It’s not an electric heater, Machi. And poor bear, he sacrificed his hibernation so as not to make Machi cry.
Mayoiga - the stowaways finally found the Lost Village…or was it? The village is deserted and characters are set to be in danger one by one - first victim’s Yottsun. Not even a day in the village and you see the characters’ personalities clashing, which makes you doubt they’ll be able to build their dream “utopia” in the first place.
12sai - Aw, I find Hiyama really cute. And that scene in the bath house was damn funny! Also that scene when Hiyama punched that maniac who’s courting Aoi for malicious reasons.
Netoge - Ako has trouble separating the real and the online world. That causes trouble to the other members of the gang, hence Master decided to create a club to help Ako realize this. Watch that “Rusian is my husband” scene - one of the most hilarious this season so far!
Flying Witch - Chinatsu is making a lot of cute faces in this episode - from how she was scared from the Harbinger of Spring to how she finds the fried fuki too “adult” for her taste.
Tanaka-kun - Our lazy guy was disturbed by a girl who wants to be his “apprentice”, which makes him want his 1000 yen offering to the gods refunded. Anyway, I'm just falling in love with the setting more and more - I wonder if it's patterned from a real life location 'cause everything looks so chic.
Bungo Stray Dogs - What Atsushi thought was a hostage taking in the detective agency was actually a test to see if he’ll fit to join the squad. The president seems to have some hesitations, though. From its pacing it looks like Bungo’s taking its time to introduce its premise but the next episodes seem to promise some action.
Bakuon - I love the backstory on why Rin has such strong attachment with Suzuki motorcycles, specifically the Katana. Hane passed her license exam (thankfully) and the girls do some racing along the river.
Kiznaiver - That electrocution scene was hilarious. Here we see the characters open their deepest secrets to one another - being afraid of dogs, previously overweight, etc. That confession scene was very out of pace though, and Maki’s confessing a crime is an intrigue to look forward to.
