ssssssso  i finally (finally) updated where you can’t follow  again 

for those keeping track, here’s what’s up with me and the intense lack of updates until now: 

depression + anxiety + i just moved out and am living on my own for the first time in my life + the longer i left it the harder it became to come back, because due to the whole anxiety thing, i hate 99% of everything i write ever, have 0 faith in my own ability to tell a worthwhile story, and could for a long while not even think about wycf without basically wanting to throw up. good times 

i’m working on it. both the anxiety and the story - as of now, i have, just like i’ve had all along, a plot thought out - i know where i’m going, i’m just not entirely sure of where i’m going. 

the current chapter is actually half of what i had for frisk just now (i just decided it’d be better to split it up and let chara talk for a bit in between.) so i technically have the next 2 chapters already finished! or well. sort of finished? getting there. after next chapter (chara) i’m gonna wait until i’m done or almost done with the next chara chapter before posting the next frisk chapter, so i can keep at least a little bit ahead of the curve. i miss writing. i want to get back into it. so, i’m trying. 

i hope someone out there gets some pleasure out of it, somewhere along the road.

I really like the idea that Undyne being kindness shows you that “kindness doesn’t mean you’re a pushover.” That’s also one of the reasons that Papyrus being orange/bravery has grown on me so much, because it shows that bravery isn’t just about beating your opposition into the ground, it’s about having the courage to stick to your morals even in the face of death.

PAPYRUS BEING BRAVE AND LOYAL AND WANTING TO STICK TO HIS THINGS AND IT INSPIRES UNDYNE RIGHT BACK AND HE’S ALWAYS SO READY TO HELP AND LEARN THINGS BECAUSE NOTHING WILL KEEP HIM DOWN OR INTIMIDATE HIM
