Feeling my long tail draping off the side of the bed as I cuddle my partner like the most prized possession of my hoard. Listening to the storm outside and hearing the thunder thrum in my heart!!! The rain makes me feel alive, and when I shut my eyes, I can picture myself twirling amongst the raging clouds. Dancing like ribbon. My scales shine like gold in the flashes. The lightning is my friend, and when I land I'll sprout flowers beneath my clawed feet.

Being a shapeshifting dragon is weird and a bit funny as well.

Most of the time Im just an aquatic dragon because I enjoy it.. But if something happens I can just shift to any other dragon.

For example: Im just chilling as an aquatic dragon.. Then a thunder storm comes and suddenly I'm a thunder dragon? Lmao what?

It was also really hard to figure out because I simply thought I just am a lot of different dragons or something... Turns out I'm just a shapeshifter dragon

A dragon in your bed is a great idea!

pros: soft scales, will curl around you, are warm (mostly), very cuddly, soft growls to help you sleep!

cons: probably wont actually fit in your house so i hope you like sleeping outside

Dragon Beneath

I wake each day in borrowed flesh, a cage of bone, too soft, too small. The mirror shows me human lines, but none of them are mine at all.

Beneath my skin, the fire stirs, a heartbeat older, fierce, untamed. I feel the shadow of my wings though no one else can see their frame.

My hands reach out but find no claws, my voice holds back a thundered roar. I pace within this brittle shell, remembering scales I should have worn.

The world calls me “only human,” yet I know that’s not my name. I am dragon, bound in silence, longing to be whole again.
