For various reasons I've had Size Differences and TADC on the mind, so I figure I should throw out a recommendation for a fic on the subject I really enjoy. Bitty Bunny by @knight-lyte is a cute story where Jax ends up tiny after spudsys, and has to suddenly deal with being both adorable and dependent on others, while still being a little shit.

It's as SFW as fanfiction ever is, and just generally a fun story!

Re. Greznedge: what I like about this is how it would inevitably backfire on Jax completely. She'd be all "i'm gonna make them call me Greznedge lmao, they'll feel so stupid, this'll be so epic". And Zooble would maybe be briefly annoyed, and the others might be sceptical but then they'd all just roll with it and move on and use the name normally. And Greznedge would be all "fuck, now my name is Greznedge forever?? This sucks so baaad".

And of course Zooble in particular would know she doesn't like it, and Greznedge would know Zooble knows she doesn't like it, but Greznedge would be too stubborn and embarrassed to admit it and Zooble would be like "rabbit girl made this bed, she can get herself out of it. I'm not playing". Meanwhile Ragatha would try to approach it kindly like "are you... sure this is the name you want? It's ok to change it! We'll all support you!" And that would just make Greznedge double down harder on the Greznedge of it all. So there'd be an impasse. And the true test of personal growth would be how long she'd suffer being Greznedged before admitting she doesn't like it.

It's just so classic Jax to try to mess with everyone via ironic detachment only to end up hurting her own feelings for no reason. That's the secret sauce of her character right there. I love her so

It’s hard to tell How long she’d hold out for, because of her spite factor… as soon as someone else (who Isn’t content to keep it to themselves like Zooble is) catches on that she doesn’t like the name, Greznedge would, as you said, double down on Being Greznedge. Maybe she’d snap once people started making Nicknames… Imagine you come out of your bedroom after a long night of convincing yourself that this is Fine and the FIRST thing you hear is somebody talking about some Good Morning Grezzy. Especially if the perpetrator isn’t Zooble

more than anything i want a world where a trans girl realizing she is a trans girl faces zero fear from that realization and subsequent coming out. Where she can say "Oh sweet, I can just be a girl? Sign me up!", no worrying if shes girl enough, no worrying if society will accept her, no worrying if she'll be an attractive girl as she transitions, no worrying at all in any way shape or form.

the amazing digital circus is a show about empathy and what it does to you if you go too long without a support system so the show starts with sympathizing with Pomni (the most empathetic person, easy), ep2 is empathizing with an NPC in a game (no flaws), ep3 is empathizing with a man who has dementia, ep4 is empathizing with someone who annoys you when they're unmasking, ep5 is asking you to empathize with an abused rich white woman and so on....

so it all works up to the empathy boss - a bush era edgelord millenial trans girl who thinks she's Max from Sam & Max and is inherently unworthy of love
