Feminine Wiles
"the trans label isn't a shield against criticism!" yeah no it really isn't. sometimes i wish it was. sometimes i wish someone found out that the person they're being baited into hating is transfem and it makes them go "oh, wait, i might be being lied to and i might have biases that they're trying to take advantage of that i need to work on"
i came out as trans and a terf pizzagater started posting about me on kiwifarms
i wasn't socialized enough as a larva
by the way if you call the idea of a male character becoming a trans woman “femboy/gnc erasure” im pouring boiling oil on you

are people talking about the labor conditions at Taylor Farms yet? like the fact they use enslaved prisoners in their facilities?
are we drawing the connection between worker safety and consumer safety & public health yet?
are people demanding to see the conditions in this place that keeps making us sick? why are the enslaved workers not having the time to use the bathroom or to rest when ill? very few people would shit in front of their coworkers given any choice at all.
On the prisoners point:
In a sweeping two-year investigation, The Associated Press found goods linked to prisoners wind up in the supply chains of everything from F
More on the health point:

A Singlet Girl's Guide to Picking Up Plural Girls
guy who thinks the goal of an argument is to humiliate the other person: -evil -pragmatist -regrettably correct
guy who thinks the goal of an argument is to facilitate reasoned discussion with an interlocutor: -doomed -hopelessly naïve -will be found dead in a back alley with two gunshot wounds to the back of the head but will depart straight to heaven on priority orders from the big man himself
guy who thinks the goal of an argument is to tally up your opponent's infractions in accordance with a book of empty rules you elected to bind yourself under: -a loathsome creature -never gonna make it -somehow even more doomed than the second guy
They put men on the moon? Not very impressive. Bunnies have been up there since antiquity making delicious mochi for all.
A brief timeline of JK Rowling’s descent into TERFdom
As I’ve seen some misinformation floating around here, i thought i would provide a short timeline for JK Rowling’s terf arc. Not only is this a key resource against bad faith arguments, but can also provide an example as one of the most well-documented instances of TERF radicalization.
21 March, 2018: JK Rowling likes a tweet calling trans women “men in dresses.” A representative for Rowling calls it a “middle aged moment.” (Source: https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/jk-rolwing-transphobic-tweet_uk_5ab77230e4b054d118e3b789)
25 June, 2019: Rowling follows notorious transmisogynist Magdalen Berns on twitter (source: https://www.thepinknews.com/2019/06/25/jk-rowling-under-fire-following-transphobe-twitter/). Rowling later calls Berns “immensely brave young feminist and lesbian.”
20 December 2019: JK Rowling tweets in defense of Maya Forstater, whose employment contract was not renewed for deliberately misgendering her colleagues. (Source: https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/20/uk/jk-rowling-transgender-tweets-scli-intl-gbr/index.html)
22 May, 2020: Rowling likes another tweet by transmisogynist gay activist Fred Sergeant that attacks and deliberately misgenders trans woman Alex Drummond. (Source: https://www.nydailynews.com/2020/05/19/jk-rowling-likes-another-anti-transgender-tweet/)
6 June, 2020: Rowling tweets in response to an article with a headline that contains the phrase “people who menstruate,” suggesting that this phrasing is erasing women. This is the earliest example that could plausibly be seen as an attack on trans men.
10 June, 2020: JK Rowling publishes the TERF Wars essay on her website.
The modus operandi of TERFism is to attack and demonize trans women. Their “concerns” over trans men are there to provide rhetorical cover, a shallow justification after the fact.
tme enbies, especially those who aren't medically transistioning genuinely have some of the worst takes on passing guides full stop. "why do they all encourage stereotypical gender presentation, don't you know you can pass while still being gnc'
A) the point of a passing guide is not to encourage and condone stereotypical gender presentation but is a guide on how to achieve it because the goal of many trans people is to be perceived as their gender by cis society and reduce the violence they face for being trans by being perceived as as cis due to passing
B) Due to how scrutinised transgender people's gender presentation is, it is not until a lot of us have been on hormones for years, and also received several surgeries and voice training that we receive the privilege of being able to explore other gender presentations while still being perceived as our gender/passing. Doing so before hand will get us clocked as trans, take it up with patriarchy and the threat of transphobic violence rather than trans people trying to navigate this
C) trans people are inherently gnc, there is literally nothing more gnc than choosing a gender other than your assigned one because the entirety of patriarchy is built around the idea of 'you are your assigned gender, you are not and cannot be anything other than it'. Stop trying to insist that trans people trying to navigate and survive this world is reinforcing the patriarchy.
I need to emphasise I've encountered this exact stance so many times, please, other non binary people who aren't interested in passing you need to sit down and listen to the people who make and adhere to these guides, I assure you they are not doing this because they think women should be housewives and men should be soldiers.
“I saw that the camera could be a weapon against poverty, against racism, against all sorts of social wrongs. I knew at that point I had to have a camera.” – Gordon Parks
Segregation history, Gordon parks. 1956
It’s so easy to tell when people talking about the new Ghost in the Shell series haven’t read the manga. The main complaint I’ve seen has been “It’s too colorful and silly”, and like. Sorry you fell in love with the 1995 movie that stripped the story of all its joy and humanity to make it more cyberpunk or whatever but that’s not my GitS. The Makoto from my GitS changes her hair to a new garish color every other panel and makes politicians punch themselves in the face for kicks and has a side gig as a lesbian prostitute and tells her crew to “guard” cherry blossom trees during their downtime. As far as I’m concerned the 2026 show has been absolutely perfect so far
tme people, when a trans woman is being vocal about grieving the childhood that she never got to have, it is incredibly disrespectful to lecture her about the things that suck about growing up as a girl, because we DID grow up as girls. girls who were deprived at every angle of all the joys we sought, shoved into places and spaces where we did not belong, tortured by a community with a deep hatred of transfemininity.
if your instinct when confronted with a trans woman's grief is to contradict her and "correct" her, you need to do some serious self-reflection about why you believe it's your place to speak over her.
