Felicia began jumping from roof to roof as she saw the cop cars pulling up to the building. “See ya around boys..” A smile appearing on her lips as swiftly leaped from building to building. Stopping now and then to drape herself in the shadows. Leaning over the edge of the building where she stood, she took a few steps back. She then leaped from the edge in a mid front flip. In a free fall, she took in everything around her as the flashing windows passed her only to catch herself on a balcony.
Peter noticed a sleek, feminine figure dashing from building to building, heading away from what sounded like an armada of wailing sirens.
Gotcha.
He adjusted his web-slinging path, closing in on intercepting the woman, clad in a black catsuit, trimmed in white fur. This is new...
"'Scuse me, Miss?! I think you've got something for me!" he called out playfully. "Let's hurry this shindig up, I'm running a bit late."
A slender figure began to lower herself down an air vent at a local museum. Dangling above a clear glass case with a wire attached to her waist she began to cut a hole it the glass. Reaching inside she clasped the fine jewel in the palm of her hand. "Perfect." The woman spoke a slight purring echoing in the back of her voice. "What spidey does not know won't hurt him.." As the woman spoke this the alarms began to sound. With a smile she shimmed back up the vent and on to the roof.
Peter Parker didn’t like summer nights. The heat sweltered, even at night. The suit didn’t help either. Too itchy. Although, he didn’t mind tonight, as tonight was date night. Making his way along the sidewalk, he began to hear a faint alarm sounding off in the distance.
Great. Just great. This better be an escaped elephant on a tricycle, or I’m out.
He slipped into an inky alleyway, throwing off his dinner-wear and yanking his mask on. “Showtime.”
|| Sorry kids, I really have to stop going AWOL.
Amazing Spider-Man #2 preview from CBR
youramazingspiderman replied to your post “my drafts are empty i did all the things do i owe anyone / does…”
Can I have a thing.
I feel that youramazingspiderman has a really good portrayal of Peter and Spidey. I’m really happy to see him back on my dash again after his break.
The smile on Gwen’s face mirrored Peter’s own as he took her hand. There were few things she liked more than seeing him smile “She’s good. Lots of auditions going on at the moment. She asked how you’re doing.” As she was speaking she put the lemonade cup and napkin from her pretzel at her feet, then leaned into Peter’s side.
Peter gave her a playful nudge, letting out a quiet chuckle.
"Oh? and what did thou say to Madame Watson?"
MJ chuckled, a slight blush spreading across her face as she nudged him back. “Aw, thanks, Pete. You really know how to make a girl feel special. Christina Hendricks is gorgeous.”
He shrugged. "If only I could afford to keep her around." He knew that wasn't true; thanks to Octavius, he had his own company to run.
"You up to anything, Red? I know this great little place that's go the best chow mein in Queens."
|| I feel a bit stupid when I remind someone that they owe a reply, and they just ignore me. I know I'm not the most popular person around here, but at least have the respect to say you don't really want to interact.
Mary Jane turned, a wide smile on her face as she caught sight of Peter. She curtsied slightly in light of his compliment and laughed. “Mad Men, huh? You’re really pulling out the charms today.”
"Eh, found out my old roommate's Netflix password. I can't stop watching." He said, giving her a playful nudge. "Lemme just say, I'd take you over Christina Hendricks any day."
Gwen scoffed, “C’mon, when is Jameson not being a diva?” She nodded through the rest of his update, “Say hi to May from me.” Gwen really did like Peter’s aunt. She was funny and clearly cared about Peter a lot. She was always there for him.
"Crazy? I’m not the one with an alter ego", she reminded him, poking him with her elbow. She saw the things on the news and still had a hard time believing it was Peter inside the suit. She had another bit of her pretzel, thinking through what she’d been doing. When she’d finished, she shook her head. "Sorry. Nothing interesting in my life. Studying, writing essays. Working. I saw MJ the other day."
"Yeah?" Peter asked before slurping the last droplets of sweet lemonade. Sooo good. He peered up at the setting sun, and smiled. The waning moments of sunlight was something he enjoyed immensely, especially there with Gwen. He shrugged and turned to Gwen again, taking her hand in his.
"Haven't seen her in a while, how's she doing?"
"Is that Joan Holloway?!" Peter called out as he approached the redhead standing on the corner of west 40th and 7th.
"Lookin' sharp, MJ."
"The break room," He said, "How are you?"
"I feel fat n' sassy. Except not fat. You?"
