‘This Isn’t Productive At All’ & Other Things You Could Say While You Are Awake in The Middle Of The Night While Bathing Your Bloody Demon
With Kairi from Embers, I think?
楔 (Kusabi) - a proper translation
Wedge
A misleading, manipulative line of questioning. Life isn't just about forgiveness (1). Everything crowds in, tangled and messy. A violated future, of thoughts bleached clean.
Vermin eat holes through happiness. What kind of life are you living? Where do you think you’ll die? A misleading, manipulative line of questioning. Life isn't just about nodding along. Everything crowds in, tangled and messy. A violated future, of thoughts bleached clean.
Save your sleep-talk for after you’re dead. That talk you keep repeating is delirious. Has this world, past its lethal dose, become hell? Or maybe…
There is no omniscient, omnipotent God.
Let your brain-juice spill out.
Vermin eat holes through happiness.
What kind of life are you living? Where do you think you’ll die?

(1) Just an interesting fact. Not so much in this album, but forgiveness and mercy and recurrent themes in Dir en Grey's lyrics.
Man, We’re All Going To Hell So You Could, At Least, Try To Have Fun While You Wait. (OC)
MORTAL DOWNER
as soon as i heard that toshiya went blonde i knew exactly what i had to do
MOBS - a proper translation
He won’t accept it (1)- the truth. My breaking heart - he toys with it.
The teller of dreams (2), nods along.
It's not me who carries his cross - and yet I nod along too. As it is, as it is. Time passes just like this. There is a certain clarity, under this clearing sky - let me ask gently, if this is the answer...
I run on with no exit in sight, I speak as though my words mean anything, so which of us is it that cannot change? (3)
He won’t accept it - my breaking heart. The teller of dreams, nods along. The teller of dreams, only ever nods.
(repeat chorus)
Only my ageing, distorted face, smiles back at me in the mirror, just the man I’ve always been.
--
(1) If you read the poem in its entirety, it is implied that the "he" is the face in the mirror. (2) Same as above, it is implied that the "teller of dreams" is the same person as the narrator. (3) It is implied that this "who" is the narrator.

Distortion and Rain
Human shadows crawl the earth, bound by false closeness, and the time it takes to gather my thoughts - I hear nothing. I desire nothing.
Sweat, tears, blood drip down onto my hands.
Outside the mosquito net, the lambs are beaten by the rain. (1)
Whatever I give is promptly stolen - again and again, over and over. It’s nothing new - but why does it have to keep happening?
I am not meant to know that, ignorance is bliss. A luxurious cesspool of exploitation, O luxurious, luxurious.
I am not meant to know, ignorance is bliss.
And the fact that I refuse to know, proves that I'm already dead inside. (2)
I close my eyes. I seal my mouth. I cut off my ears.
Whose wounds are these that I carry?
A luxurious cesspool of exploitation, O luxurious, luxurious.
--
(1) In case it's not obvious, the lambs here are people who, like the narrator, refuse to see/know/understand.
(2) I had to take some creative liberties here so that this verse is understandable in English. The original reads 知ってはならぬ /それが屍の証, which reads literally "not knowing is proof of the corpse", which would translate in English to "not knowing is proof that I'm already a corpse". If you read through the rest of the lyrics, though, it becomes apparent that what the narrator means is that his refusal to know/see/understand is proof that he's dead to the world.

There's nothing else - a proper translation
(TW: the lyrics to this song mention unal*ving on*self - proceed at your own risk)
Pathetic as it is, this is all I’ve got. From the moment I was born, I’ve been but a weak man.
Drenched in regret - serenade - Pain shared between us, dragged down, sucked under.
Endless overthinking - serenade - Spouted from on high, unintelligible. A swirling su*c*de.
Douse me in oil. As for the ones beside me - who can say? It doesn’t matter anyway. None of it matters. We’re all headed for the same fate.
A swirling mass of dead bodies.
Pathetic as it is, this is all I’ve got.
Don’t move. Censor this.
This is all I’ve got left. Don’t corner me any further. You know words can kill - you’re the one who sowed their seeds. Disaster changes course.

Apparently the band isn’t consulted for this kind of thing.
This is hilarious.
