For the month of October I wanted to do a kind of inktober drawing characters from PJO, HOO and TOA.

I don't know if I'll upload it daily due to time, but I'll try to do it as planned. You can also suggest any characters you'd like to see. 💕💕

Long semi-informative passage ahead

So this is an apollo butterfly or mountain apollo. It's a rather pretty little butterfly, characterised by the red dotted pattern. It lives in mountain regions and sometime vineyards all over Europe, parts of Asia and Skandinavia. It was germany's butterfly of the year 2024!

And it's strongly endangered.

The reasons for it's drastically shrinking numbers aren't entirely clear, but it's very likely, that climate change plays a key role in it. A subspecies found at the moselle valley went almost extinct because of pesticides used for the vineyard in the 80s, but due to the united efforts of activists and lepidopterologists (lol butterfly scientists) the usage of pesticides was banned and the butterfly saved.

Since 2012 it's numbers are dwindling radically again and noone really knows why, but climte change likely is at great fault. This isn't something as easily fixable as controlling aggricultural toxine use, but something that can be dealt with to an extend, if everyone does their part to stop it.

The Burning Maze is real. And it's not a magic sun god essence induced fantasy place, it's a very real, human made issue and this butterfly is dying because of it. It's happening right now, everywhere and we can only hope to stop it, if we all work together. Wear second hand, use public transport, kill convince your local mega industry CEO of blasting less factory waste into the environment - just do whatever little thing you can to contribute, so hopefully we can all band together and safe this butterfly, as well as all the other endangered species and our damm planet, just like that group of activists has already done before.

So this has been perhaps unnecessarily long and preachy for a silly fanart drawing featuring an endangered species. I honestly just really wanted to share this cool butterfly and perhaps something of it speaks to you in a way.

just finished “Trials of Apollo”. I'm not okay.

everything ended the right way. the way it should. we were given a chance to say goodbye to everyone, but I still feel like my heart was broken. Lester is the best character, his internal monologues saved the books, I don't remember being this impressed by a first-person narrative ever. I'm sad that Jason is gone, and it hurts me that Percy can't talk about him without crying. But I'm happy that Reyna and Thalia are working together, that Lit and the other residents of the Waystation are settling in, and that Meg is helping her fellow siblings

but I don't know. It's probably my attachment to this series. It's sad to say goodbye to Lester, so I'll comfort myself with the headcanons that Apollo is coming down to Earth more often to visit Camp half-blood, or Camp Jupiter, or Meg's house...

I used to have no acne , until I entered to college and I've got acne out of nowhere. I still suffer from it despite I'm under treatment .I'm through the hardest days of my life . I feel really insecure. I don't say all of this to embarrasse anybody because of their acne or saying having acne is something that you should be bothered about , but we can't ignore that acne has a huge bad influence on mental health and self confidence , So I say all of this for one reason: I was thinking we should appreciate that uncle Rick decided to give Lester acne . So yeah even Apollo could get acne!!! It doesn't mean I want anyone to has acne , I just wanna say that all I want is normalizing having acne . It's so hard when you go out and watching people staring at you or asking what happened to your face , stuffs like this.Its not our fault:(

Artists and TOA community please make your Lester's art with his acne . I think it can has such a positive effect in our spirits . It's a proper way to normalizing. Thank you❤️

TBH I think TOA has cursed my life😂😭 . My destiny is turning to Apollo's destiny (tragic romance stories , acne ,...)
